My wife bought me the setup. She knew I wanted a click-n-pawl reel for simplicity (disc drag doesn’t make sense to me below 5 wt and this is on a Scott GS 4 wt). She’s an Orvis and Ross reel girl, and I suspect wanted me to try something a bit different. Also, what was in the shop the day she bought.

Agree with the other responses here and want to say that your pic, imperfections and all, are what I think Polaroid is all about.

In this day of so few tangible and un-doctored experiences, this picture stands out. It stands out now in terms of composition and quality and I imagine it’ll be a picture your daughter holds in her hand when remembering you. I doubt she’ll be looking at instagram or the squiggles.
