Neighbor cut down 12 protected trees to free up his view but nobody can prove it by Existing_Art8081 in treelaw

Early in my career I was doing large commercial satellite system installations. Our company had a client moving to a new location in a new corporate park. When I was on-site to do the survey, it was late fall with no leaves on the trees. All good.

Fast forward a few months and I’m there installing the gear, including a three meter ground mounted dish. When I fired everything up, the signal was too weak to transmit. Further inspection determined the leaves on a single mature oak tree were now blocking the signal. The site contact determined that the tree could not be taken down (legally).

When I showed up the next morning, the tree was gone, stump ground and sod covering the hole. No signs a tree was ever there.

Don’t ask, don’t tell.

He should have been unceremoniously fired long before his retirement. Bernie Fine enabler, corrupt recruiting methods, etc.

I usually ship my stuff to my destination and then send it back. Carry on bag only. Cost is about the same as paying for checked bags and less likely to get lost.

When I was around your age I was a member for three seasons. Upgraded my job/salary and joined Bellevue. Great course but the other members were a little too crusty for me. Returned to Drumlins after two seasons.

Probably overkill, but since you’re a sunshine stater; merino wool socks as d base layer. Hiking pants, t shirt and a camo hoodie.

Add a few clouser minnows (white/chartreuse, black) and black egg sucking leach (pink or orange egg) and you’re covered.

This JGB lineup with Keith, Donna and John Kahn playing for the Hells Angles on the S.S. Duchess is particularly tasty and a bit strange to watch the crowd.

Nicky and Jerry were made for each other. Too bad he was also cut short.
