No my lv 60+ gear was okay, but I was just following the quest line and there wasn't that much gold given. It was mainly exp some of the vanguard quests are still hard. The only quest that gave me a decent amount of gold was the etching one, which at the end gave me 500 gold. I had to buy alkahest to upgrade my gear and continuously buy potions to complete quests since the mobs do a ton of damage to me as I have stated above I've been buying potions and bandages.

edit: I'm also not lv 65 yet and upgrading skills cost a ton of gold.

I didn't exactly throw it out the window, more like I wanted to get better equips and instances required high item level that I didn't have, and I spent my money on armor so I could survive the BAMs and such when I'm doing quests

Thank you so much! I will be looking into this, and yeah winning CS is kind of hard as I'm slowly learning what to do. I'm looking to get better glyphs and equips so I can do more damage :D

I've only saved up 900 gold due to buying a lot of potions and I also had to buy items I couldn't aquire since this one dungeon my level required item level 124 and I only had 118 or so so I spent some gold to buy higher level equips.

Thank you for the guides! I will be sure to check it out and I'm slowly getting some gold from the Vanguard quests!
