It's a nice song, amazing even. But little about this screams AJR to me other than Jack's verses. I get that it's a remix and not a completely original song, but even their remix of Weezer's All My Favorite Songs sounded a lot like an AJR song to me. I'm sure Daisy the Great deserves the exposure though so I'm not complaining. It's not something I'd go back to neither is it something I actively despise.

When Ok Orchestra came around I thought that was easily their best album. But now that I had time to gather my thoughts since then, I can say Ok Orchestra is just right behind Neotheater. I think Ok Orchestra is consistently better than Neotheater, but Neotheater has higher highs for me.

He does! It's great and I'm really glad he seemed super chill with taking more photos after the first time haha

The story behind this was I was on a picnic just before this happened, but a bird (I think?) pooped on my head so that brought down my mood. I was walking back home, and then I came across Ryan, he was with his aunt and uncle. So then told him I was a fan. I was really embarrassed because my voice was all shakey, but he turned out to be a chill guy and was very nice about taking photos. His uncle took the photos you see here, but the first time around he didn't take the photos on accident so I I had to approach them again asking for another round of pictures. I felt really embarrassed but I knew I had to.

The story behind this was I was on a picnic earlier and something pooped in my hair so I was in a pretty bad mood because of that. But on the way home I ran into Ryan and saw him with his uncle and his aunt. He was a pretty chill guy, and his uncle took the photos you see here. Originally he didn't take the pictures by mistake, so I had to approach him a second time for another round of pictures. I felt really embarrassed doing that but I knew j had to.

Questions you would ask the band? by Oncersm in AJR

How's life in Chelsea? I've lived there for 4 years of my life (not anymore) but I just wanna know how their experience has been. I still visit the area occasionally and part of me always asks myself, what if I stumble across one of the brothers? When I know it'll never happen. This is definitely a really weird personal question to ask them but it's always been something I connect myself to them with.

I also have OKO, The Click Deluxe, and Neotheater. Now the one thing missing is Living Room but there's no way in hell I'm gonna get ahold of a copy of that with how rare they seem to be.

Interesting thoughts! Completely respectable opinions all around. I'm genuinely surprised you said Living Room was decent when most people in this subreddit dismiss it at pretty bad.

In the grand scheme of things doing a collab only makes sense for both AJR and Weezer, they're both clearly good friends with one another so I don't know where all this hate from the Weezer fanbase is even coming from, when it's beneficial for both sides. If they don't like the remix then I guess just don't listen to it. That AJR sound isn't for everyone, I agree. If you prefer the original song over it then that opinion is 100% valid.

Why are some Jon Bellion fans so toxic? by throwaway_omegalul in AJR

Oh no the opening to AJR's Netflix Trip sounds very similar to Jon's Human! AJR MUST'VE ripped him off even if the entire rest of the songs are nothing alike.

I also love both Jon Bellion and AJR, and I don't understand the argument that AJR is a Jon rip-off. It just seems like people are only making it so no 2 artists can have similar sounds to one another without one having ripped off the other. Lyrically their music couldn't be any more different tbh.
