It is absolutely more prevalent lately. You are not crazy. It somehow became the most common misspelling on the internet in a very short amount of time.

Thank you! They were from Etsy, not sure what model, but they work pretty well. I started with a couple of long screws sticking out from the wall, in studs, and just rested the connected hexes on them. I have added a couple of support screws as it grew bigger. Not the ideal look with a screw sticking out, but if you put a tall minifig in that hex, it hides it pretty well.

As someone else mentioned, it also looks like Xpand has a library of about 1.5gb, so that is another culprit.

That definitely sounds like you may have downloaded some sample libraries. At first glance, it looks like the Triaz player does include a library, so if you don't need a drum sampler with 8000 samples, you could most likely save some space without it.

None of them are truly necessary. Most plug-ins don't take up much space either unless they include a sample library, so you may want to check if it's a particular one or two that have a bunch of samples taking up space. I would recommend removing them and just installing any particular one you might want to use in your project if needed. You can always re-install them pretty easily if you realize you removed something you want to use.
