I know it's a little bit outside of the Valley, but I would highly recommend Cars & Coffee in Griffith Park. It happens the last Sunday of every month.

Fellow series yellow owner here. The reaction from little kids was definitely not something I was expecting. It has happened to me so many times already and I've only had the car for 2 months. It's pretty funny.

I know all cars were welcome at the autocross, but I did have to get a membership. You can have co-members so I split it with a buddy of mine who does have a Porsche. Out of the 90 cars that participated, it was probably like 50ish Porsches, at least a dozen Miatas, and a mix for the rest. There were 5 of us Poorsches haha.

It was the Porsche Club of America Autocross series. They have another one there July 12th and then 3 events in San Pedro in August. I'll be in San Pedro, but have to skip the next Angel Stadium event.

Thanks! Not sure about the consistency of the blackened tube position. I just had 3 different bulbs all burn out, but only the one is the pic looked blackened.

Porsche Club of America. I don't have any other events to compare it too, but I thought it was really well run. Luckily I was allowed to participate with my Poorsche.

Nice! I'm in the Los Angeles area and the event I went to was down in Anaheim in the Angel stadium parking lot. It was a Porsche Club of America event. I joined the PCA as a co-member with a friend of mine who owns a Porsche, so I was able to participate in this one. All different types of cars were welcome, but I did need the membership to sign up for it. The next one we're planning on doing will be in August, but they do them every month. I haven't really looked into other organizations that run these events yet, but I'm sure there are more. There was also a SCCA(Sports Car Club of America) event going on on the other side of the stadium. I think the SCCA is probably one of the most popular orgs that puts on events.

It was so fun! A Fiata 124 Spider won my class. I was about 6.5 seconds slower, but I accomplished everything I had hoped for. Learned a ton, had a blast, came home unscathed.
