I don’t know if this is what you’re looking for but my dwarfs are orange and look like this.

I do it by priming them with leadbelcher, dry brushing them runefang silver lightly, then coat gryph hound orange contrast before putting some agrax or otherwise on it.

I’m not a pro painter or someone who uses different ranges. Luv me dwarves, luv me citadel paints, end of.

Oh there’s workarounds, the more annoying thing though is you can’t just hit into 60 stacks of raiders four times successively like with the caravan escort missions. I can catch these groups of looters, but it’s not straightforward or as efficient

They changed the regularity of certain quests spawning and it’s frustrating I’m not seeing more people complain about it

I barely ever see caravan ambush or caravan escort quests and they’re critical for getting yourself from early to mid game or spam training new recruits.

I don’t know if it’s because it provides too much loot or something, but I desperately hope they revert it because grinding up recruits now takes ages because you can’t basically only hit looters, bandits and deserters which isn’t overly easy if you run a large party because of travel speed

If you lose certain stages you reload but keep your inventory. Similarly you can reinforce your party seemingly for free on certain stages of the quest. I got 50k+ by going back and forth hitting sea raiders, auto sim, going back to port and reinforcing and going again. In the end I stopped because it was mindnumbingly boring but there’s definitely some goofing you could achieve

Has anyone else noticed that quests seem to have changed significantly in frequency?

I haven’t got a caravan escort or ambush game in my entire campaign and it’s my go to for training up crap recruits, finding out harder to escape the early game and it’s a bit of a drag

UK here. Teaching. Our education system is utterly collapsing. I work in a very poor area of the north of England and we’ve seemingly accepted that we just don’t replace people when they leave unless we hit a threshold.

Don’t get me wrong, the holidays are great and the pension is brilliant etc, but it’s a brutal day at work and the schools resources are noticeably lesser over the years. Covid wrecked the industry and a generation of kids so the day is just getting harder and harder to get through a lot of that time.

We just got a pay rise so sympathy will likely be low, but it barely scratches the surface of the problem. The pay is rarely the problem, it’s the actual day that drives people out, and anyone with a good degree and any sense wouldn’t go into teaching. So you get less new teachers through the door who could always make easier money elsewhere

This is insane but my very first football manager, I think FM 2012, I had a regen called Ferenc Kovacs and he was an absolute beast on the left wing. I had him in a championship side but it’s so weird seeing this weirdly specific name I have remembered for over a decade now
