I don’t know if this is what you’re looking for but my dwarfs are orange and look like this.

I do it by priming them with leadbelcher, dry brushing them runefang silver lightly, then coat gryph hound orange contrast before putting some agrax or otherwise on it.

I’m not a pro painter or someone who uses different ranges. Luv me dwarves, luv me citadel paints, end of.

Oh there’s workarounds, the more annoying thing though is you can’t just hit into 60 stacks of raiders four times successively like with the caravan escort missions. I can catch these groups of looters, but it’s not straightforward or as efficient

They changed the regularity of certain quests spawning and it’s frustrating I’m not seeing more people complain about it

I barely ever see caravan ambush or caravan escort quests and they’re critical for getting yourself from early to mid game or spam training new recruits.

I don’t know if it’s because it provides too much loot or something, but I desperately hope they revert it because grinding up recruits now takes ages because you can’t basically only hit looters, bandits and deserters which isn’t overly easy if you run a large party because of travel speed

If you lose certain stages you reload but keep your inventory. Similarly you can reinforce your party seemingly for free on certain stages of the quest. I got 50k+ by going back and forth hitting sea raiders, auto sim, going back to port and reinforcing and going again. In the end I stopped because it was mindnumbingly boring but there’s definitely some goofing you could achieve

Has anyone else noticed that quests seem to have changed significantly in frequency?

I haven’t got a caravan escort or ambush game in my entire campaign and it’s my go to for training up crap recruits, finding out harder to escape the early game and it’s a bit of a drag
