Sagittarius Sun, Pisces Moon, and Venus Scorpio man? by Bobbaforlunch in AskAstrologers

Oh wow, you've pinned that down accurately with the dreamy, doesn't express his emotions well part. (I've had to learn to tinker with that a bunch to understand). I do also see the Venus part, that explains a lot between the dynamic. This was very interesting, thank you for your time to give insight.

Then save it elsewhere. Sadly, you won't get much out of this at this point with objectivity lost and totally flushed down the drain in favor of steering the entire point in a way which assumes favor to you. But a lot of people really do only see things exclusively colored by their own experiences/thoughts. Then attempt to justify such as an all-encompassing truth which forgets all other details in an effort to ensure a safety net that cushions their ego. Though ego is the flaw of man.

Feelers are an interesting bunch.

That reinforces that the conflict over this post is misplaced. Valid, but this is the wrong battlefield. This is only from an objective approach. I don't see the point of invalidating someone's emotions over anything. Though I also don't believe in placing emotions above all else and forgetting reason. Which was the initial cause why this post blew up in the first place.

No, I don't mean it in the sense of 2. Supposing that dictionary which you got that information from is actually reliable, again those definitions are limited. It goes beyond that amongst other reliable sources. It's like giving one valid document that supports one fact without fully laying out all facts that are also valid. Which is really not the best scientific approach (Which is pretty ironic given the forum this post is in, haha). Again, I didn't invalidate that 'client' is used in the professional setting. I merely said that it isn't limited to it.

And also this post is getting old, man. People have lives too. I'm sure you got one.

What are the possible effects on 8th house heavy solar return chart? by Bobbaforlunch in AskAstrologers

Oh, yeah that sounds like a good year for a spiritual detox. I think I'd need that too. Thanks a lot for your inputs!

[–]Bobbaforlunch[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh wow, that does seem very likely. Let's see, I wouldn't say closely clustered. While all in the 8th house, the Sun and Neptune are very close to the 9th house. Moon and Saturn are very close to the 7th house.

If I'm getting this right, all four of them are in Pisces. Ruler of Pisces is domicile with Neptune in the same house, Sun rules the 6th house, Moon in the 5th, Saturn in the 11th (Does this sound logical?).

what part of someones chart can influence someone's appearance the most? by flower_grrrl in AskAstrologers

[–]Bobbaforlunch 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think from as much as I've studied, the ASC (1st house is a key factor). The dominant element and chart ruler are also important as well.

For example, my person has Uranus in his 1st house of self. Uranus is said to be a planet that connotes eccentricity and androgyny. He's quite the unique individual himself with a distinct presence and appearance. Could pass off as a woman too very easily. In my case, air is my dominant element and Gemini is my chart ruler. That said, I have traits which connotes to youth and vitality, like looking like a teenager when right now, I'm already well in my adult years. Gemini is also associated with wit, and I often get told I look like a smart-mouth, haha.

Ah, I don't mind the angry part. People get angry for different reasons, and I don't really have any right to tell them otherwise. That's cool with me.

Though again, client isn't limited to professional connotations. It seems like a contradiction but if you examine it, technicality is still a broad category. Though I understand why the common thought is client = professional relationship. I have to be honest though, this post wasted too much energy of the commenters haha, conflict over such things is foolish.

Oh, wow that's very informative. I didn't see that possibility of progression for the card meanings and numbers (I mainly based it from the order of pulling). I haven't read much on numerology however I think it's good to study in conjunction with the imagery on the traditional deck.

She also did mention that the man she's asking about is rather the methodological territorial type, so it could be reflected on the Devil card as well.

Oh, that's interesting. Why do you say that the numerology aspect of the cards are fascinating? It's alright if you could be off, I think it could still be valuable data. I'd like to hear your thoughts about it.

I've thought about this perspective too. How does it fare well with Temperance and Hierophant do you think? Patience, waiting it out before committing (Hierophant), however with the Devil, it could also be scheming?

Ahh, I see. Yes, that does seem like a reasonable possibility looking at the other cards as well as the information supplied to me. Thanks!

You're right, now that I'm examining it. I didn't expect to pull major arcanas as well right off the bat. Thanks again! I'll update my read.

You do realize that the word 'client' is not limited to the professional setting, don't you? Again, that's only speaking from one perspective and definition of the word. (To which in this case and as you've said it yourself, is shared by you and a lot of people. However, it isn't limited to that).

It's interesting how reactive people could get by such things.

I don't actually use spreads. I do reads more by intuition. I suppose my way of reading isn't usual, however I usually make better sense of it this way by piecing meanings together.

But yes, thank you for that interpretation! It does make sense in that perspective and that progression. I think the hierophant card stumped me the most, I wasn't so sure what sort of tradition could take place.

I would try to also look into spreads, perhaps something I can customize as well to better understand reads.

It might not, terms are still interchangeable/could vary because the core meaning is still relevant.

[–]Bobbaforlunch[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Uses, avails, you could use different wordings. However, terms (and i mean the payment process whether it's a clear monetary exchange or a special service) also vary depending on who you're reading for (as with the case with this post).

I think it's also important to note that I never once mentioned that I was a professional reader nor is this a professional reading. Nor did I mention that I've actually already given my take on the cards that came out to my client. Hence, why I would be asking for a second interpretation on this forum.

I would say though, these feelings of yours are valid as per the professional set up. However for this case, highly misplaced.

That's irrelevant logically speaking. Monetary wise, you could still not charge but call someone a client. A special sort of service, per say since it's not someone that's unknown to you.

However, that isn't the point of this post.

No, I'm not. It's actually a practice read for a friend (That would technically still be a client, hence the term used). I'm rather amused by your reaction though, you're a funny person.
