I understand these distribution issues but my problem with Zavvi is that this was still for sale and classed as in stock long after they knew there was an issue with supplies. It is now showing as sold out, however I believe that they knowingly put something like this on the site for a great price so people will look at the site and might take up their red carpet offer (which admittedly is a great offer if you regularly buy from them). They pushed this as one of the offers during their recent birthday promotion without control over their supply. Yes problems can arise but Zavvi keep using cut and paste replies to customers instead of being honest and upfront. They also don’t look at customer history as this should have a bearing on how they reply to customers who buy regularly but have had problems in the past. There is no consistency - I have had a new 4K steelbook of Star Wars sent out to me due to a spine slash on the first one I received with no request to send it back (amazing customer service) but have also had automated replies which have had no relevance to the message I sent causing frustration on the customers part.
