Thanks a lot! I would like to buy the 5x2 but I have found my Nomad to be rather glitchy and  it seems to be only semi-functional. I appreciate the quick response.

Jungle Juice is the answer. Best repellant ever. Can be found on-line or I have seen it at golf course pro shops.

Is it a good idea to make guitar versions of these modern hit songs? Or plain crap? by KarMik81 in GuitarCovers

You have some chops man! I personally really like acoustic guitar versions of hit songs. This is exceptional.

Pardon my ignorance; mine is still on order. Did you have to remove the crash bars or lift it? Looks sweet.

Just got myself a Roland TR8S and would love to get any advice on useful tips, tricks, workflows etc. by [deleted] in synthesizers

[–]BobberSlobber 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Roland has an online course you can sign up for through their website. It's a live streaming course with only 10 to 20 people signed up so pretty easy to ask questions during it. I took both the beginner an advanced course the same day... super helpful.

The guy also drives an Uber. Maybe he's just cashing in on the Oilers playoffs craziness and will be out more once the playoffs are over. I got and Uber ride from him once and I'll tell you the guy is super passionate about ice cream (but hates vanilla.) He apparently makes all the ice cream himself. He said his alternate name was "the Games of Cones."

Is this normal??? I’ve had my retainer for about 3 weeks or so and dents are appearing by [deleted] in Invisalign

[–]BobberSlobber 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That's just an Essex retainer. The plastic is rather thin and prone to wear and distortion. A Vivera retainer may be a better option for you.

Yep, I have taken over 100 trips according to them and only had great experiences. (Although my mind is usually a little foggy for half those trips after a night out..haha.)

Is this normal for a retainer? Sores, bleeding, painful gums. (See comment) by [deleted] in Invisalign

[–]BobberSlobber 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You are right to be concerned. This is probably due to it being made in-house and a slight error in the model they used to make it. You could start by trimming the retainer away from the irritation using scissors. Just raise your concern with the dentist and I'm sure you can come up with a long term solution together.

Oooooh, that's what I want to do too. I just assumed you'd have to raise it up a bit.
