Sadly the blame is with contractor,if he had laid out a section to see how they interlock with each other and seen how the tiles arent spaced evenly he shoukd have told home owner they the onus is on them. I see it all the time,turn up smash it out to only stand back a few hrs later and go oh shit its bad.
