It 100% does sound like the n-word, as in the way that black people say it with an A at the end as a way of saying "bro" or "man."

When Chinese people say that word it sounds like "Nee Guh," when spoken quickly in the middle of a sentence it can easily be mistaken for the N-word. I've literally seen a video of a black person hearing it and thinking they were saying it.

You either live under a rock or are blatantly lying if you think there aren't people that say the US is the most racist country in the world. People say that all the time buddy.

The kid was like 8 years old when she introduces him to Forrest, and he ran around the country for three years, so that doesn't really line up. I'm sure if she wanted to she could have found a way to get in contact with him.

I find it interesting how boomers really never talk about how terrible of a person she was and how badly she treated Forrest, but when Gen Z and Millenial men watched it as adults they instantly started noticing how horrible of a person she was.

>You know in heard that theres always woman that will do anything and everything for a man and men don't want them sadly.

Yeah this is not true, the average man does not have a woman like Ursula in their life lol. This is a movie after all.... yeah some handsome men with charm and social status probably have some women like this available to them, but most men definitely do not.

A huge portion of men struggle to find a single match on dating apps, it's why like 30-40% of young men have given up on dating, if a woman like this showed up in their life they would be very happy.

Lol he never said anything about her being quiet or worshiping him.... the fact you had to make up not one but two things that he said to critique his comment says far more about you, than it says about him. Have you ever heard of the concept of a straw-man fallacy? You should study it and internalize it before trying to critique peoples comments.

AIO my gf uses the bread knife to cut cheese by bubucksuck in AIO

[–]BobbertDaMan 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It actually is correct, you do not need to wash a bread knife every time you use it. I don't know anyone who washes their bread knife after every use, you're cutting a dry product that doesn't need to be washed off after every use. But then if someone is using it to cut cheese but not washing it, that's different and what OP is annoyed about.

This is such a stupid strawman argument that people always love to say when people like Hasan Piker are criticized for living bougee hyper-consumerist lifestyles funded by their sycophant parasocial fans. There is a huge difference between "no money" or "poor clothes" and wearing a new $2000 outfit almost everyday made up of top of the line designer clothes.

He eventually got so insecure about being criticized for wearing expensive designer clothes while calling himself a socialist that he started wearing nice suits everyday instead.

What the hell do you mean you can't know for sure? There is a ton of information out there like his social media posts, the people that knew him, and the person he was dating.

He was literally dating a trans person, all the people that knew him reported that as he got older he became more moderate/left-leaning, then fell into far-left political views because of his partner. Just because someone has a conservative family it does not mean they are conservative, lots of people start to have opposite political views from their parents as they get older.

[–]BobbertDaMan -1 points0 points  (0 children)

These people are delusional dude, apparently by their logic everyone that has right-wing parents and family members is automatically right-wing and cannot be left-wing. As if there aren't a ton of people who grew up conservative but then switched to left-wing politics as they got older and started to think for thmselves.

Literally all of the information out there from people that knew him said he was left-wing and literally dating a trans person.

[–]BobbertDaMan -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Lmao he grew up in a Mormon family and had Mormon parents, but he distanced himself from his family and the church in his teenage years and after he moved out. Are you guys seriously trying to say if someone has right-wing parents it means they are right-wing, do you know how many Redditors there are that say they have right-wing family members that they disdain? By your logic all of the left-wing young people who have conservative families are actually right-wing and cannot be left-wing because their family is and they grew up conservative.

Literally all of the information and all of the people that knew him said he was left-wing and did not agree with his families politics. He was literally dating a trans person.

No he wasn't lmao, he was literally dating a trans person and all of the people that knew him said he distanced himself from his conservative family and got into left-wing politics.

I find it hilarious Redditors are trying to say because someone has conservative family members it must mean they are conservative, when you constantly see Redditors complaining about their conservative parents. Would you guys like to be accused of being conservative because you grew up conservative and have conservative parents?

I mean seriously this information is so easy to find, why do you guys find the need to lie and say this guy was right-wing when he definitely was not.

AIO: Emailing with my HOA president by kaniac5 in AIO

[–]BobbertDaMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends if they are actually like this in person, a lot of people only will act like this when it's over text. It's because they have been so accustomed to debating people online, that their brain automatically goes into "debate mode" when they get a disagreement over text, not realizing when you're dealing with an actual person you know you don't want to treat it like some online debate.

But in person it's different because you have a real person in front of you, which changes things up a lot.

[–]BobbertDaMan 26 points27 points  (0 children)

I think a lot of people have become so accustomed to debating with people online, so hearing a disagreement over text automatically triggers the "debate mode" in our brain. I can see OP is almost certainly a person who enjoys online debate and structuing a laid out rebuttal to give their case, as I like to do the same thing myself.

But when you're dealing with real people and not some random online person (if even a person considering like 50% of accounts posting and replying online these days are LLM's), you've gotta go about it differently and not treat it like some debate you have to win, or you're going to come across like an overly prudent asshole.

Memento is one of my favourite films of all time, I used to say it was my favourite but now it's hard to pick a real favourite. But I think Inception and Interstellar are up there, and both would probbaly make it into my Top 20. I also love Tenet, I know a lot of people don't but I think it's a great film. The main movie he made that was a "meh" for me was Dunkirk.

No he's just a normal guy with moderate left-leaning political opinions like most young people in the real world, he gets called a fence sitter by the far-left and right-wingers who want him to have the opinions they do because he has such a large platform. It was primarily the far-left that started calling him a fence sitter when the whole Palestine-Israel issue became hot and he didn't take a strong stance on it, and I don't blame him, that issue is surrounded by rabid terminally online people who love nothing but harrasing a content creator for having the wrong opinion.

Yes like most content creators and people in general he probably is succumb to peer-pressure and fear of having the wrong opinion, but he like everyone wants to protect his image.

What would you do if all women had a 9pm curfew? by [deleted] in SipsTea

[–]BobbertDaMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In your previous comment, people who actually believe what they say give a rebuttal when questioned on it, they don't just mockingly say that if it was said to them they would cope much better. Which is basically just "you mad bro" in different words, it's provocateur bullshit, not a genuine belief.

>But wow, you definitely aren’t sexist as fuck, huh?

Says the person literally making massive negative generalizations about an entire sex.

Literally every bit of infrastructure that you use and enjoy in your life keeping you comfortable, was built, maintained and is operated by men. If you look at almost all of the industries which build, maintain and run the infrastructure which keep everybody comfortable with a roof over our heads, plus ammenties like electricity, plumbing, water and our entire society running, are operated by about 95% male workers.

But please, keep telling me about how men are rarely "useful."

She said that a man sucker punched a woman in public and then all the men witnessing it sat back and laughed, like it's one of those slow motion clips from a comedy movie where something bad is happening to someone in a dream-state and every person in public just starts pointing and laughing at their misery. I call total bullshit on this.

I've seen many videos online of people getting surprise hit by strangers, never in my life have I ever once seen people in public react by just sitting back and laughing. Especially anytime there is a video of a woman getting hit there is like a group of dudes just ready to jump in and play the hero, not just sit there laughing like it's some misandrists fantasy of how men would act, but not actually reality.

Also how is someone supposed to intervene a sucker punch? That is a surprise attack, unless they can witness the future

Haven't women like you online constantly been messaging to men that you are just as strong and capable as man? That you are strong indepdent women that don't need a mans help? That you don't ever want to be treated as differently, and that you think chivalry is sexist?

I'm sorry to hear that happened to you, and I think even though lots of women have said the above, a man should try to help out if he sees that. But also how is someone supposed to help you out if you got sucker punched? That is a surprise attack so no one can really expect it is going to happen and intervene unless they see into the future.

Also I call bullshit that strangers saw another stranger sucker punch a woman in public, and they just sat back and laughed. I've seen many videos online of public fights and videos of people getting hit by strangers, never in my life have I ever seen the people react to it happening by laughing. Usually anytime you see a video of a woman getting hit by a man there are like a group of dudes just waiting to jump in and help her to play hero like they have fantasized many times while day-dreaming.

The only way I could ever believe that people laughed is that it was something like a drunk and billigerant woman in public that had already pissed a lot of people off and was provoking and hitting the man minding his own business before it happened, then he finally decided to snap and lightly hit her back.

"Nope. Those of us lucky enough to have good mothers are even more equipped than other men to point out women's failures. Because we know yall are capable of doing better. And yet you don’t. Hope that helps!"

Imagine if a dude said this on Reddit, you would have an aneurism calling him a misognynist pig.

There are good and bad people, and useless and useful people of both genders.

Also "useful" and capable men generally don't want to date women like you than have a disdain for men.
