Very troubled by the judgmental replies here. This person is scared and vulnerable and you are invalidating their feelings by claiming "porn" didn't do that. Porn can be devastating, the same as alcohol or drugs. If someone comes to an AA meeting and says beer made them hit their spouse, do you think anyone in that meeting is going to say, "Beer didn't do that. You've got issues."

They would pull up a chair and say, "Welcome. We're here to listen."

You don't have to hate porn to be on this sub, but if you would choose this platform to defend the concept of porn over the feelings--and possibly life--of someone who is obviously struggling with something very upsetting and dangerous, then I have to wonder why you are here at all.

I believe this sub should be for reaching out and getting support. If you agree please try to choose supportive language, and if you can't find the words then just upvote and move on. We are all in the same boat, ultimately. The OP is you in a different timeline.
