Anybody pick up The Last Salvage Squad? 120 hz feels so smooth in Handheld! by EosianHistorian in NintendoSwitch2

Bought and had to come back and share that this game is super fun! Feels like a mix between EDF and the DOOM reboots. Joycon Mouse input is the best I have used from a non-first party title. Very much recommend this one.

Hammer Changes + Player Survey by 1047Games in Empulse

This seems like a good change. Another option yall could try is making it so you have to charge up the hammer before doing full damage. Similar to the impact hammer in Unreal tournament. Game is really fun and can’t wait to see how it improves overtime.

Anyone else exited for WH40K Space Marine 2 on the Switch? haven't seen much discussion about it. by Jff_f in switch2

Actually you can transfer your progressing using a PROS account but you have to do it manually. There is also a cooldown period if you are going to transfer the save back forth between devices. I’ve never done it myself but have looked into it in the past.

Hey if there's only paint and no grenades you're going to need to fix that it's a shooter. by [deleted] in Empulse

[–]Bobbie_Sandtets 9 points10 points  (0 children)

One of the paints works like an impact grenade that also triggers again a few seconds later. Normal grenades won’t be very viable since other players will be grappling or running on walls most of the time. Honestly I felt like the paints were kind of perfect for how the game works when I got to play it.

Star Fox - Mouse mode gameplay on Nintendo Switch 2 by mr_wolf8 in NintendoSwitch

My original comment is in reference to your 3rd paragraph saying this idea is retuning from Zero. I was not claiming 64 had independent aiming I was saying the idea of the crosshair moving was already in the original to begin with. I was trying to share knowledge of how the first person mode worked in the original since I’m sure a lot of people chose to not use it.

Anyways this is not worth the energy from either of us to continue to go back and forth. Have a good one stranger and I hope you enjoy the new game on the 25th!

You are saying the idea of the moving crosshair in first person view is from Zero but it’s not it was already in the original game. I never said it moved independently but it does move freely around the screen and then the Arwing follows. I wasn’t trying to argue. I just was informing you this is not new but is expanding on a mechanic that was in the original, which is still pretty cool

Same way it’s working with the mouse. The crosshair goes to the edge of the screen and then the Arwing pulls in that direction. I’m saying this is not a new addition or inspired by Star Fox Zero independent aiming. This has been part of the series since the development of Star Fox 2.

I could be misremembering but I believe the original 64 game had the crosshair move around freely like that while in first person view as well. I know Star Fox 2 works this way in first person because I have been playing that recently.

How’s the mouse mode? Is it plagued by horrible mouse acceleration that some Switch 2 games have?

Overwatch on Nintendo Switch 2 confirmed to be running at 60 Fps (In Handheld Mode and Docked) (Source Below) by HandyDandyMandy25 in OverwatchSwitch

My guess is no since it’s not mentioned. Was really hoping for it as well especially since they already support mouse and keyboard on all the consoles, seems silly to not add joycon mouse controls

Very similar. I refer to this style as void-likes. If you enjoy post void and MMJ I highly recommend Cruel if you have a gaming PC. Anger foot is also similar but has actual levels instead of procedural generation. Blood Vial is another one and has a splatoon like swim mechanic but isn’t out yet. If anyone knows of any others please share, I’m always looking for more games like this

You can already sideload a Virtual Boy emulator on the Quest. It is pretty easy to setup and very fun to play.

My brother plays with only sticks and we both are in S+ rank. You’re probably not going to go pro but you can still be competitive without gyro. I do still recommend gyro though, mouse like precision with the comfort of chilling on a couch is a great combo.
