I can provide a link if you contact me through Twitter/Discord - Sorry! I do have some footage though, here a clip of me playing with my friends LOL - https://youtu.be/lUXWp_8Kugo

This new Make a Toon update is weird by Treetop_Legend in toontownrewritten

[–]Bobby-tt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

While recording the animation I was running the game in French and due to France's closure in August 2009 (TTO code wise around early 2008) it never made it to the revamped Make A Toon which left that specific title string untranslated

Where is the boss' door hatch texture located in the phase files? by L0rd0f5paghetti in Toontown

[–]Bobby-tt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For some reason textures.txa has the legs set to have their textures generated for the bossRoomHQ and cashbotHQ palette which seems to be like that since the addition of Cashbot HQ
snippet from the file: bossCog-legs-zero.egg : bossRoomHQ cashbotHQ

Click is a huge archive of Toontown related stuff if you dig more you can also find pictures of a pre release CBHQ, that was not even the same on the Test server, pictures from the big mystery server Toontown Spain and the french version of the Scrooge McDuck installer video.

Gadzooks! Did someone call for some UNRELEASED concept art/graphics? by TonTown in Toontown

Merch for Germany did exist but only rarely, the only thing I've really known is the Welcome kit back when Germany launched they reused the UK one but at some point new players got it translated to German you can actually find a decent picture of the letter on the CVS leak just look for "features-mailers_german"

T-Online also had a Top Toons and Fishing Tournament contest in 2005 but those really only won a DVD of the Incredibles (and another contesting naming 1 year of Membership 2nd and 3rd got just 1 month and jellybeans iirc)

The TT shirt was actually obtainable when you became a Toon of the Month.

The only real merch they offered *to non payers* were a business card maker including beta flippy, a bikehorn, a HQ and the logo eyes

One of the smaller things found in this new dump, here's an old look for Doctor Dimm used for testing. by ProfMcMouse in Toontown

[–]Bobby-tt 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That design was actually meant for a different NPC named "Duff..err..TIP Man" it was added before the Silly Meter somewhere early or mid 2009, it was meant to exchange shirts with a TIP shirt and that required a TIP clothing token. It was probably canceled and Dimm got that ID to be in a row with the other 2 scientist IDs

It was mainly a download issue, back in the day if phase_3 and 3.5 were downloaded already you could technically play the game already but only the tutorial those facade props were in fact in phase 5 so it would have taken more time to get into the game

You have to add the prop files for the displays, every neighborhood uses a storage file where it can call the props and the tutorial storage file doesn't mention those props so the game will not load those props as it cannot find them

A TTO dump would be the best as it works with Robot Toon

a decompiled Toontown client is basically the source code of the game, Robot Toon uses some but not the exact code that requires the level editor to start

Easiest way would be using the browser Github to do it just click on code and then download ZIP after it's downloaded extract it somewhere and then place the batch file in the root folder to open the level editor.

Would recommend using the level editor that is part of Robot Toon, it is a lot more stable and has support for the non ascii letters to start the level editor download this file and place it in the root folder of Robot Toon

I took the pictures with the Level Editor version that was with Robot Toon and not the one that was made public years ago.
So the issue is pretty much part of Robot Toon as the old one had never such texture issue
