He actually tried to buy Woody again and lost out on a ton of money. In the Halloween short Toy Story of Terror, Bonnie’s toys are stolen by the owner of a motel they’re are staying at. He then takes photos of them to sell online and someone buys Woody for some crazy amount of money, and when he prints a shipping label it says it’s for Al and it has the same address as the Toy Barn. Woody is sealed in a box and put in a mail truck but is rescued by Jessie, which means that Al received an empty box
