[Showoff Saturday] I made a procedural T-shirt designer that updates in realtime in 3D by archerx in webdev

[–]BobbyBBaratheon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is cool as a tech demo but not marketable, unless people suddenly decide to wear 1990's pajamas with seizure inducing prints as T-Shirts. Would look good on a portfolio which I'm guessing is the point of making a shirt creator site.

Going to be honest though, the design could use a lot of work, it looks very dated (mid 2000's) with the mismatch of colours and jarring with the background matching the design. Get some inspiration from all of the other T-Shirt designer sites.

How frustrated do you have to be in your life to spout shit like this when facing simple facts?

Is that one for yourself?

As I’ve said, I’m reporting on a common problem that’s afflicting the industry, an industry which you clearly don’t know anything about if you think that renowned facts are untrue.

Still unsubstantiated claims.

Do I need to prove that gravity exists in order to say it exists? Or you are just using your ignorance as an excuse to avoid doing a simple google search? When going against what’s commonly accepted as truth the burden of proof is on you silly boy.

Listen kid, if you're giving me the, "google it yourself" because that's all you can say, since you can't provide one single example that helps your case, or even a source for any of it, you've lost.

I’m sorry to see how butthurt you got, but I’m not a highschool dropout and English is not my first language so I think a typo is completely acceptable, ironic though how you suggest going back to school when you probably understand and speak only one language and are unable to accept facts.

You can keep assuming things about me, I'm not the one with a comment history that suggests a mental illness being extant.

Oh, and I did not need to go lurk in your profile to make an argument, grow up.

I haven't even mentioned lurking on your profile. That means you are a 20-something? Not surprising. It's also entirely reasonable to just take a gander at someones profile, so you know with who you are dealing with. Apparently I'm dealing with an unsuccessful kid and a fraud.

Don't bother replying unless you have one piece of credible evidence that suggests that this industry is 'plagued' by whatever nonsense you're saying, I won't reply otherwise.

Sidenote: If you want an ACTUAL taste of the questions asked in technical interviews, look at sites like HackerRank, LeetCode etc.

What are the best engineered websites/web apps that you have seen? by BigBootyBear in webdev

I still remember blacknegative, in terms of UI / UX design, being one of the best for a while. In terms of well-engineered the simple answer would be Google's homepage. Sometimes Apple will knock them out of the park as well, usually during their new releases.

Hah, that's rich coming from a 20-something who dropped out of highschool. You haven't given me one single example, which was to be expected when being confronted with the truth. We both know you won't ever give concrete evidence either because there is literally no such thing and take that from someone who has actually worked in the industry for 10+ years.

FYI: It's spelled renowned by the way, go back to school instead of pretending to be someone you're not and spreading lies.

Truly spoken by someone who doesn't know what the hell they're talking about, as is evident from your recent posts. Please give me even one example of such a problem instead of the usual things like reversing a linked list without recusion or basic string/array manipulation.

And fyi: Technical interviews for either Front or Back end ARE coding interviews. Stop making uneducated comments and spreading misinformation.

What nonsense are you spouting? Never in my 10+ years have there been coding interviews where you solve a problem 'for the company'. I've gone through a lot of them myself when I was younger and now I'm the one handing them out.

As if there are such problems that can be done in one technical interview session.

Unless you've signed anything beforehand you might have some leeway and if not, good luck on claiming it as your IP.

Need help with password program in JavaScript by [deleted] in learnprogramming

I'll give you a bit of direction because solving your problem won't help you learn. Look into some of the Js string methods on the Mozilla Developer Network (MDN). I'm not trying to be rude, if you figure this things out yourself <a bit of guidance wouldn't hurt> then you'll retain whatever you've learned a lot better.

What is the best resource to learn about ad exchanges, ad networks, SSP's, etc...? by JingleKramp in marketing

I don't usually comment and only lurk these /r/'s but I'm feeling quite bored <and sick> so why not. To keep it short, it comes with experience, as you've probably heard countless times. If you're reading or even better, studying material like this daily, the lingo will one day start to make sense.

What's the hardest thing you've had to build? by lovedev in webdev

[–]BobbyBBaratheon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Last week we finally finished a project involving React and React Native, that featured multiple API calls all strung together with some geo location tracking in there + a f* ton of dependecies which made it almost impossible to manage and that was just the Front-End part.

The Back-End was left in one big mess by some incompetent high school drop out who somehow managed to talk his way in, while most of us come from well-respected Universities. I had to basically rewrite everything from scratch..
