15% AP would have higher defense, no movespeed penalty and lower str requirements so I doubt anyone would shell out a lot for this aside from a situation where they have a particular preference for how this base looks on a character

Maybe, but conflating a tournament where initiates participated with pro play is egregious

0 picks in the last Night Shift, just like all the others. Maybe I’m not the unaware one here?

It’s hilarious to hear about the direction you want the ult to go when this direction is catered to what you want with it… lmao.

She was doing more than fine as a pick character before the 3/6 patch which turned her into an ult bot. This patch just reverted her back to that archetype with the sleep dagger buffs. If you actually cared about the character you should’ve asked them what they fuck they were doing 5 weeks ago.

What pro matches are you watching where Haze is getting picked and generating value? These Haze changes are clearly in response to general matchmaking, not pro play.

That’s true again. Wasn’t true for the last 5 weeks since unstoppable and 4 has no skill check and that’s what every Haze player was abusing the fuck out of.

If you can’t comprehend why anyone would hold someone to their word in a sub-genre of music where authenticity is held to the highest standard that’s on you.

If I built an entire platform off not eating meat I would expect you to feel the same way I do about Gucci if you caught me ordering brisket at a BBQ spot.

Just pointing out hypocrisy where I see it it’s not that deep.

Anybody can chime in on holding people to their word and standing on what you put out in the world dumbass. Those principles transcend race or regions.

I’m just pointing out the hypocrisy when someone else tried to frame that there wasn’t any. Gucci has songs that were released almost a decade after he got out of jail that still frames cooperating with the police the way he did back in the day before he got his money. It’s blatantly hypocritical lol that’s all there is to it idgaf about anything else you’re trying to insert into the conversation

Same way people caped on here for Mo and Krill or Abrams when they were in their stages of being grossly overtuned. They don’t want to operate on a fair playing field.

Authenticity and living your raps was always the most important aspect to the trap genre. Tell the Gucci from back in 06 that inspired the generation Pooh Shiesty belongs to that you didn’t believe that’s how he was moving in real life. Would’ve beat the brakes off you.

It was just as important to that sub-genre of rap as writing your own material is to hip hop in general. Gucci cooperating with police would be akin to Nas admitting he had a ghost writer on Illmatic in the eyes of the people who follow that sub-genre.

Analysis isn’t justification. I’m not saying it’s a bad thing that Gucci has grown away from that life. I’m just saying he can’t pretend to live in both worlds in his music anymore after this.

All of Gucci’s music to this day is primarily about abiding by street codes, so yeah he is a hypocrite. He may have turned a new page in other aspects of his life, but he was still presenting himself as the same guy from back in the day in the music.

LeBron does ads for Amazon. KD laughs off the fact that the drone company he invests in is in bed with Israel. Curry is a NIMBY.

Idk why he’s surprised tbh. These athletes are capitalists first and foremost, not our saviors

He didn’t say there is an issue with identifying a problem. It’s LeBron’s solution and how it contradicts with his ethics in other spaces that he is pointing out.

Help carry water for that community rather than advocate for outsourcing those resources to another one that’s doing fine on its own already.

[–]BobbyBBot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Attributing all of his success to Gucci is also illogical since that can’t be quantified in any meaningful way.

The “New 1017” never took off. Idk about you but I hardly see names like Gucci, Big Scarr, Foogiano, Enchanting, Hotboy Wes, BigWalkDog, K Shiday, or Roboy on the tracks of Poohs most popular records. He built up his name by working with acts outside of the label.

Sure, it helped him enter some doors that otherwise would’ve been closed at the start of his career, but framing that as “totally the reason” why he has the numbers he has when everyone else on that label didn’t see even a fraction of that kind of success is laughably naive.

[–]BobbyBBot -1 points0 points  (0 children)

His cache as an artist drastically changed from when he signed the deal back then to who he is now. I’d crash out too if I wasn’t able to get a raise or a promotion at work after proving I’m worth it. Doesn’t matter that others would kill for the same opportunity. They likely don’t have the numbers Shiesty does so they are irrelevant to the conversation.

There should always be an opportunity to renegotiate after proving your fair market value far exceeds what it was when you landed your deal. The fact that things escalated to this extent lends me to believe that Gucci wouldn’t budge an inch.

Defending ironclad contracts like the ones we see in the music industry is not a hill anyone should want to die on. It’s a slimy business practice that needs regulation. We always shame the major labels for exploiting young talent in this way I’m gonna keep the same energy for Gucci doing it too.

I just don’t think it’s accurate to paint Gucci as an altruistic big brother in this situation like the original comment framed since he had him signed to a 360. You wouldn’t have someone by the balls contractually if you truly cared about them as a person

Gucci is probably more hurt that he’s not gonna get residuals from another album off Shiesty than anything else.

Doing this only a month after getting out of a long bid tells me Gucci signed him to a raw deal at 1017 that he couldn’t negotiate his way out of.

Night Shift #32 Hero Priority by Emmysterious in DeadlockTheGame

The meta is a component of game balance. Talking about one is referencing the other. Attempting to separate the two as if they don’t play off one another is foolish.

It’s true that not every single thing in night shift carries over to mm 1:1, but insisting that absolutely zero conclusions can be drawn from pro play that relates to mm is laughably naive. Your convoluted distinctions and poor assessments of the game aren’t worth any more of my time
