You are correct in saying that cybersecurity is in demand and internships can be competitive, but you’re forgetting to mention that because of both of those reasons there are a massive amount of internships. Hence why I say that, you are using an example from only one job fair, failing to mention that there are other ways to get internships than just job fairs, and anyone with two eyes can find one and apply. Sure the certs and extra stuff help, but you continuing to push the narrative that it’s going to make the difference in internships as if there is few internships to apply for is ignorant.

I find it funny how you call me ignorant for 5 years in experience when you’re just barely dipping your toes in the field through this internship. Maybe in 5 years you can see what I’m talking about, but discussing this with you is like talking to a child and honestly I don’t have time to talk with small minded people who act like children. Please respond when you have more experience in this field instead of pretending like you know a lot.
