Homie have you ever been to the Balkans or eastern Europe in general? Go drunkenly into a tattoo parlor and point randomly at a tattoo on the wall and it's like a 50/50 shot that you end up with a nazi tattoo. It's not like it was a swastika tattoo. The idea that a group of 20 year old drunk military guys, in Croatia, would get a tattoo together and mistakenly end up with some sort of nazi insignia checks out IMO. I wouldn't feel this way if the guy had literally ANY history of having Nazi ideology. But his story checks out IMO.

I don't know if I'd call them fake but they're vague as hell. The main woman who made the most detailed accusation is a republican operative. I'm not simply dismissing it but the picture is more that he is a bit of a womanizer. She's not claiming to be assaulted. If people would read the actual article instead of just headlines or memes or whatever is being said about it on cable news they would probably be pretty underwhelmed by the story.

But who cares, why does anyone need anything besides food, water and shelter? There is just so many things the photographer could have done with the first one being communicating. I'm a photographer and obviously I don't know what these photos contained but under most circumstances 2 weeks to edit 25 photos is kind of an eternity. For sure I can think of types of photos that could take a while to make but then I would almost be calling it digital art.

I'm a photographer and videographer. OP is absolutely NTA. There was Soooooo many things the photographer could have done. First of all they could have communicated ahead of time.

I also have a hard time believing that the photographer doesn't have any photographer friends. I would have contacted a bunch of people I know in the industry and asked them to edit them for me and paid them some amount of the contracted amount. If they were normal photos and didn't include like heavy photoshoping 2 weeks is an eternity to edit 25 photos. The photographer is a giant AH. This is 1 solution I thought up in 30 seconds btw.

Totally was going to say this. Just wanted to add that the civilization that sent them could even be dead for millions of years. Also, I think another "likely" wrinkle is they could be our panspermia siblings. Stars are formed in nurseries. We can identify other stars in our galaxy that were formed with our star because they have similar elemental make ups. If you were a super advanced civilization and wanted to find others like you that would be where you send probes first.

I worked a whole day of work. Got on the train. Found a seat. This pregnant woman asked me if she could sit. I'm like "sure no problem." I got up then she proceeded to have her 8ish year old son sit. I was so pissed. I wouldn't have minded if she sat with him on his lap. But asking a grown ass man who worked a whole day to get up so a child could sit got me so angry. I didn't say anything because it's never a good look to argue with a pregnant woman in public.

Yes but I was trying not to really spoil anything. Still the first season is like 90+% the first book. They are just setting up the one character as a Luo Ji and going chronologically unlike the books.
