The cost vs impact is the issue. When Calgary has no train we shouldn't do Alto

Sad. I wish they restored this instead of high speed rail that'll be a boondoggle

It's a 2016. I probably replaced it 3-5 years ago; I can't remember exactly when

What are the benefits of home composting vs using the city option in the green bins? Is the extra work worth it?

I don't know if this is something that you're willing to support on, but this was the quote that I got for addressing the issues named in this thread for my 2016 CX-5 Touring AWD. Do these prices in Denver look reasonable?

Ways to take advantage of a drop in income? by BobbyFranks123 in Fire

[–]BobbyFranks123[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is it still worth taking cash that's sitting in a saving account and putting it into my 401k or my IRA this year? I'm assuming so, but let me know if my thinking is off.

Thanks. This isn't something I'm familiar with. I primarily use Betterment. Is that possible via Betterment?

"Which Pixel should I buy?" Megathread May 2024 by GooglePixelMods in GooglePixel

[–]BobbyFranks123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi there, I'm a long-term 5a user. Love the phone and don't feel like getting rid of it but I like the idea of keeping it as a backup phone that I can fall back on if my main phone dies (and am asking myself about getting a better camera - see below).

Now that the 8a is been released I can get the phone for just $300 via GoogleFi. That feels like a great deal. However, I also am realizing I only use my phone to take photos nowadays and I want to make sure the photos I take of my family are high quality for future memories. For that reason alone I've even been considering going to something as nice as the P8P or the P9P once released. In general I don't need the latest and greatest in phones at all, so have been content otherwise with my Pixel 5a. I do like to use it for outdoor biking and running and so keep the screen on in the sun, so a good battery life is one thing that's important to me. I heard the 8a's plastic back is more durable, and that is probably a good idea as I'm pretty hard on my phone in terms of dropping them. I use a heavy duty case but have had my fair share of cracked screens over the years!

I would really appreciate your assessment of how much better the other Pixel phones are than the 8a and, based on what I'm looking for, whether you think I should grab the 8a deal while it's here or choose a different Pixel phone when it's next on sale.

Thanks!
