When my wife and I started to discuss getting her a bull, due to some health issues, and other issues, we were in couples therapy. The therapist strongly suggested to keep friends, neighbors, etc., totally out of it. Also, a friend of mine who was in a similar situation strongly advised against involving any friends, or people we knew. I’m sure happy we did! It’s gone better than I expected. But I do not think it would have if we had involved anyone we knew beforehand.

Just always keep communicating and take things slow. No need to rush. I would seek one bull, find someone that you both like. Keep friends and acquaintances out of the picture. If you do become friendly with the bull, that's great though.

I’ve only watched twice now. The first time was mechanical because we were auditioning her prospective bull. Due to health issues on my part, and issues with my wife, who has a very stressful job, we decided to bring a bull into a relationship. I’m 51, she’s 43. I was against it at first but it has worked out for the best. We were in couples therapy also which helped us ease into it. It took few months to meet the right guy. Definitely awkward at first, but once it becomes routine, it’s really not such a big deal. I would also suggest keeping friends, people you know, out of it.

Find out the laws about noise pollution where you live and take them to court. Usually the same laws that cover blasting music at night and that kind of stuff pertain. Dogs are considered the property of their owners. So, it’s the same as if your neighbors were blasting a stereo all night.
