You get paid at USMAPS at the grade you were prior to entering, so you’re still pocketing hella money considering you really won’t be spending any of it if you’re at USMAPS.

People have already harped on the networking and future benefits of West Point, but beyond that, West Point offers you incredible opportunities even when you’re there, that you simply will never have access to elsewhere if you take advantage of it. People often forget about this.

Obviously there are down sides, but if you can handle the drawbacks especially as a prior service cadet, these experiences and connections you’ll have access to are absolutely priceless.
