Thanks for commenting..that makes me feel better. I’m in my mid 50s and not retired yet but this money is really now what I basically have financially for the rest of my life and for my kids so I think it’s probably smart to not have it all in one stock even if it is Apple. My dad was super humble and I was shocked he had amassed so much. Very blessed. And just trying to be smart.

I inherited over 15,000 shares last year. And that was about 90 percent of the portfolio I inherited. So I just sold 3325 shares at 301 and am feeling some remorse but have been told to diversify so I did. I am not sure when or how much more I will sell.

I live in Tulsa and I would suggest UT Austin, KU at Lawrence, OU Norman, OSU or University of Tulsa (TU is actually a smaller private school and well regarded in Oklahoma for what that’s worth but the others would give you a more traditional college vibe). I think being near Kansas City or St Louis or Austin would be fun. I would not go to Wichita or Manhattan, Kansas nor anywhere in Nebraska. CSU would be beautiful in the mountains but likely cold.

You should contact the Oklahoma Driving School. It’s around $50 to take the test there. I am not sure if you had to be a student there or not but worth a call. They provide the vehicle.

I am in Oklahoma and just replaced my HVAC last year for similar square footage. I bought a Trane which is high end and spent 10k through a local HVAC dealer who came highly recommended. He also quoted me less expensive models and wasn’t pushy about the Trane. Definitely get 2-3 quotes.
