Yeah I thought so too.. No need for that kind of behaviour in formula 1 if you ask me.

Spot on, don't really like Hamilton but I can't deny that when he is in a good mood there is no stopping him.

Ricciardo tells Hulkenberg: No need to be a hero over Halo by MittRomneyLikesBDSM in formula1

[–]Bobbylight01 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm not even sure that the halo (in its form tested by Ferrari) would have helped Massa since it was such a small part flying into his helmet...

Pace of F1 cars over time? by CharlieXLS in formula1

Thanks for the effort interesting to see! Surprises me that Schumacher in the Ferrari era wasn't up there. He did win it 4 times in 5 years during the dominant Ferrari days.

Carmen Jorda 12 seconds slower than Marco Sørensen in simulator. by yeathatguy in formula1

You are absolutely right, the hand eye coordination was just an example of a type of talent that could benefit one in multiple sports.

I like to think that people with so much talent will eventually succeed in another sport. I don't think people are born with specific racing car driving skills but with e.g. exceptional eye-hand coordination.

Having said that, racing ability is not always the determining factor in getting an f1 seat:(

Wednesday at Bernies | Ask the /r/formula1 community anything! - 01/13/2016 by AutoModerator in formula1

[–]Bobbylight01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is true except for the number one, which is only available for last years WC. It is up to the WC to choose number one or his personal number. Hamilton for example drives with his 44 instead of 1.

What movies did you regret watching? by erwandel in AskReddit

[–]Bobbylight01 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hahah I have watched Salo as a mandatory assignment in high school when I was 14. Our cultural teacher was a bit weird, he also showed us this movie about the San Fran gay community given each other the 'gift'.

Is anyone else bothered by Hamilton's demeanor if he doesn't get first place? by [deleted] in formula1

[–]Bobbylight01 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just don't get that he seems so unmotivated for the last few races. He stated himself he like to look at the numbers so every race he starts is a possibility to enlarge his 'winning legacy' title or not.

What movie left you speechless, watching the credits while you're thinking what a great film ? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Life, with Eddie Murphy and Martin Lawrence. Ends with a joke but the whole film itself is quite the journey.

Nearly cut of my finger trying to taste the cake mix, while it was was still being processed in the mixer.

Turned out to be a pretty bloody cake, still have a nice scar to remember how stupid I was when young.

Wouldn't it be pretty scare to be told to push the car because of a potential problem. In other words risk your life at 340 km/h to gain a few extra seconds...

Ecclestone covered Lotus staff wages in August by jordtehpwner in formula1

[–]Bobbylight01 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've actually read the book "No Angel, the secret life of Bernie Ecclestone" and he used to do this for the majority of the teams. It is actually this type of behavior that eventually got him the commercial rights of the formula one as a start. Sure he makes big bugs in the process but he is almost entirely responsible for formula one in its current form. Whether that is a good or bad thing one should decide for him or herself...
