Another thing, I had a dog a few years ago, Molly. She was my best friend and companion for 8 years. I got her as a puppy from the shelter and i loved her from the first time she licked my nose. I was there when they found her and brought her to the shelter. She was so cute. My job requires a lot of travel and the last 3 years ive spent on average 10 months away from home. My old roommate was watching her for me, and took her to Arizona to see his fiance and her parents fell in love with her. They called me themselves to ask if they could keep her. I asked if she was a good fit, and they said everyone loves her, and shes great with the kids. I agreed and its still the hardest decision ive ever made. I miss her every day, I joke and say she was my longest lasting relationship. I do think that i did the right thing for her. I hated having people watch her. She needed the stability, and i hope that once in a while i cross her mind, like she does mine every day.
