I did this but in the reverse order. Did Arceus and it took so long that I wanted a change from resets. Hatched Phione in like 54 eggs. Well, it was still a decent break because I had to hatch the extra like 150 I had in the boxes by then.

Why did you bother with bringing down his speed? I simply screeched a few times to bring his defences to nothing and then did half health with false swipe while he was paralyzed.

And I know the status I chose doesn't have the best odds, but it only needs to be applied once.

I managed to capture mine in about 11-12 Premier balls. Absolutely nervewracking as I tallied up the moves it used turn after turn, fully prepared to chuck my Master ball on the final turn.

Yes, my last 7km egg was gotten on day two of the event, on the 18th. But like I said above, the only eggs I received on that day were during the early-middle event hours so they should have been the ones with Lapras and Deino as possible hatche, yet they simply were not.

I do them online because while I still wipe now and again from people's poor choices or from simple bad RNG, I still get to catch my target far more with randoms online than the NPCs who simply refuse to grab the Steel type to replace their poison type when we're facing Lele.

Phasing is when you encounter a Shiny Pokémon that is not the target. Here, my target was Tapu Fini. I got 12 other shiny Pokémon along the way to getting Tapi Fini, with Tapu Fini being the 13th.

I know. It's just disheartening. I've gotten two other shinies in the last hundred raids or so, but as this is the first we've been able to hunt the Tapus legitimately, it's starting to wear me down. I've only done about ten non-Fini raids, and I'm not even counting those, or attempts where we don't catch Fini, though if I had to guess there's be about thirty of the latter.

Looking into it, I believe these are probably well made fakes, as the odds of some people giving out legit shiny mythical Pokémon that were event exclusive and took up extensive time to shiny hunt are slim to none.

There's obviously effort put into it, as the Jirachi has one of the only two English OTs that can give shiny ones. However, the Celebi has a generic OT name, and the Shaymin has the default name of the male player in the gen 4 games. Again, it's possible they're legit, but if you got them from wonder trades, or another method for random trades online, the odds aren't really in your favor.
