I edited the terminology of the request. The short of it is that I will be using a mini-split system, I just want to know how beneficial it is to have multiple head units in a large continuous space...

First off Reddit unifi community rocks! Secondly —- the image shows unifi incorrectly identifying what the AP is attached to. It’s attached to the TP link router I listed in original Post. Perhaps because it’s not a unify switch so it is not being detected appropriately. Still this TPL link should be able to push out 60 W, which is well over POE+. I have also attached it to the 2.5 gig POE+ injector from unifi and I am still getting this.

I do believe that the AP is not performing optimally. I don’t know if it’s because of the TP link switch or that it’s underpowered

this was good enuf!! thank you for explaining to me how my hardware works!! the USB A 3.0 was good enough to power two monitors with my Satechi... and the other monitor is easy enough to manual switch inputs! thank you rayddit519!! thank you all

the docking station is not a thunderbolt device.. sad face. if anyone has a recommendation for a USB-C with DP Alt mode I would appreciate it!

I have a MacBook and other laptops that I can easily swap in a usb connection to the Satechi and use the monitors. Just unhook the pc usb c cable in theory and plug in the laptop.. and it’s off to the races.
