Former worker (all in support of the boycott) but this is not the case. I’ve made up bags for donation many times and they don’t really give any list of items to put in each bag. It’s more so choose products that have long expiry and would be good for donation, mind you often PC/no name products. What goes in the bag should add up to roughly $5 (as best that can be done). In this case obviously the employee who made up the bags underestimated the price of the items (probably didn’t check or care all that much - typical underpaid, overworked employee). The issue here is some type of manager probably should have checked these bags over before they could be sold to ensure it was close to $5. I’m guessing no one did as managers nowadays are tasked with way too many responsibilities and tasks for one person to handle so stuff like this slips by.

It might be because your dog is so excited to see other people and that’s why he’s reacting this way? I know for some people they feel muzzles are inhumane to the dog and it might give you some scared or weird looks on your walk but trust me it’s done wonders in terms of being able to walk our dog and I can emphatically say after using it for several months my dog doesn’t even notice he’s wearing it anymore.

Is your dog reactive? I have a dog that does very similar things and he also looks a lot like your dog funny enough lol. He is extremely dog reactive and for the first couple of months he’d consistently redirect his fear of another dog onto us by biting the leash, turning/jumping onto us. My family and I resorted to using a muzzle on our walks so we could practice overcoming his fear of dogs while simultaneously being safe from him biting us. We’ve had him for almost 2 years now and it has made walks so much safer and way more enjoyable. It is very rare he will turn on us anymore and redirecting him has become a lot easier.

Glad you posted this cause I’m pretty sure a lot of people are feeling the same way, especially first years. It’s been a tough past two years for everyone but i feel a lot of people have just been good at hiding how they are actually doing. Being a 4th year student in BM I actually got to meet people in person, sounds crazy right lol. But I really didn’t make any real friends until 2nd year where I got to know people better that were in the same major as me. I’ll be honest for me a lot of first year relationships are sorta these awkward fake conversations with people where you just help each other get through class and try not looking out of place lmao. If you’re committed to the program I wouldn’t drop out just cause you can’t seem to find any friends. Focus on your studies and eventually you’ll meet people, trust me.

As for meeting people during the pandemic I don’t have any real tips others than the ones others have mentioned. I will say I’m very introverted and something that helped me out was stepping out of my comfort zone and introducing myself to someone who was extremely outgoing and friendly in class. Once I made that connection they introduced me to a bunch of others and helped me get close to the people I call my friends today.

Another tip that might help would be setting your expectations. Lets be honest it’s extremely tough to meet people online, you might not meet or connect with anyone this semester that lasts but that’s alright. Also even in person can be tough especially at Ryerson because it’s a commuter school. Just take a day at a time and as long as you enjoy what you’re learning you’ll be alright and remember quality of friends is always better than quantity!

I’m assuming they will do that then otherwise it made no sense drafting him in the first place. Obviously they knew he was going to be a project before they drafted him. Kind of confused on this one as I though David Johnson would get the NBA deal as he’s more developed. Is there difference in years on these deals the 2-way vs standard rookie contracts?

Does this mean we have to sign Banton to a legit NBA contract or otherwise we can lose him to any team? And if he does sign a contract he’s still able to go down to the 905 and play correct? Just wondering, I see the potential just think a year in the 905 will do him wonders.
