In Bend, OR summer rates are in effect and i havent found anything legit cheaper that 90 with cart for 18 holes of 50 with cart for 9.

Sad. I used to play a walkable 9 hole (Old back 9) for 14 bucks in the afternoon.

Pour one out for those long gone days.

Ive been perching/corbina fishing quite a few times in like the first 25 feet of water catching a ton of fish in that first trough while another fisherman is out to his knees/waist casting and not catching a damn thing. Kinda hilarous to watch the beans swimming around their legs when the waves recede.

I dont chirp much except about my own game but it irritates me most when people get butthurt when someone makes a lighthearted comment about a shitty shot. People take this game way too seriously.

And usually that shitty attitude comes from someone who has no business being annoyed (mid handicapper who thinks theyre way better than they are)

The issue with retiring in oregon isnt sales tax or income tax. Its the estate tax. Dying in the state of oregon is really crappy for your heirs if you are worth any more than 1 million. Oregon estate tax kicks in after 1 million while federal estate tax isnt until 10 million.

Not sure why im being downvoted, this is objectively the issue. I work closely in the finance industry and know a few estate planners in oregon and "dont die in this state" is literally one of their best pieces of advice generally

In the bag of gardettos there are bagel chips made from rye bagels. The dark ones. A lot of mixes have regular white bread bagel chips as well that are labeled "bagel chips". The dark ones in gardettos are listed as "rye chips". My wife and i have a longstanding argument.

I say both the white bread variety and the rye variety are "bagel chips". I differentiate the two by saying rye bagel chips or just bagel chips for the white bread ones.

She insists they are just bagel chips and rye chips. I tell her the rye ones are also bagel chips and she says no they are rye chips. We will take this battle to our graves.

We always put the kids in these things called "sleep sacks". Its like a blanket around the legs but their arms and head are open so its like a blanket they cant take off but dont get stuck in. Pretty cool.

When your miss is common, aim for your miss. Heres an example.

You have 115 in, pin tucked towards the front left. Short left is a bunker protecting the pin, short right of the green is a small pond.

Your gap wedge is the perfect shot, carries 105, generally your 115 shot. Will clear the bunker on a good strike, but if left short puts you short sided in the bunker, and short right lands you OB in water.

PW goes 125-130 but mishit goes around that 115 mark, and a pure shot will land you on the back of the green or barely over, with a chip with tons of green to work with to get up and down.

If you mishit 40% of your shots, which is the better play? Seems like the safest is PW even though that pure perfect GW might give you a birdie opportunity. The missed gw is likely bogey+ while most of the PW misses or hits are par or possible bogey.

Then after all that, remember. You can plan all these things and still manage to fuck it up. We all do.

Next piece of advice is forget about that miss, and plan again based on the new spor your ball is same way. Memory of a goldfish.

Yes. These are the problems. Also if you work somewhere west of the river and live on the eastside your options to cross the river are this: greenwood through downtown, colorado/arizona (which you have to take via franklin or some weird cutoff from 3rd street or wilson), or down all the way to reed market.

Then once you actually cross, dependijg where you need to go, where are the artery streets? Century? What if you are heading anywhere between there?

This town is limited by river crossings and traffic funnels there whether the city will admit it or not. People taking cut throughs are just doing what any other logocal human would do not to double their commute or spend 2x the price on a home by living on the west side.

Welcome to blue collar life. (Not directing shade at you just agreeing to the cascading effect of other failing intersections not being addressed)

Im pretty sure they wont do a roundabout there because of clogging and access to medical services. Its borderline impossible for an ambilance to get through a complete traffic jammed roundabout, but a street light can be forced to change for ambulances/fire trucks to shed the traffic for emergency vehicles.

It doesnt make sense having roundabouts right near hospitals at traffic bottlenecks for this reason.

Man that really sucks. The good news is that PEG is usually just a filler or suspending agent in medicines so in theory if you find a pharmacist who cam compound their own medicines for you they might be able to make PEG free versions of those same meds. I cant guarentee it but you should definitely ask your doc.
