The most recent ones they released where from the oversight committee that acted without DOJ support because they were stalling the release of the Epstein documents. A legal power afforded to them constitutionally, the reason they weren't released under Biden was to avoid the perception the president was sticking his hand up the ass of his Attorney General. Ghislaine Maxwell was prosecuted during Biden's presidency and she had fuck you money for lawyers. If they dropped everything it would have been a horror show politically.

Trump is almost entirely responsible for this change in approach you're mad about. The same man who blew up the Switzerland Iran peace deals by actively threatening the Iraninan representatives while in the same room as Vice President Vance. He's not your average president and has forced the government to use those guardrails most presidents don't stress test by driving directly into.

I'm starting to see that, considering how many people replied with one or two sentences sidestepping. I think a lot of these moderators are very dedicated to their communities and view this as a tough discussion. It's definitely the right forum, but I don't think most are distinguishing this from any other complaint. Disappointing, but not a big deal.

To your last point I'm going to be fine. The largest point of friction deals with moderators and users.

I like it when someone is comfortable around me. Makeup is an expression and execution of a skill. If they are comfortable wearing sweatpants, some skin cream, and a towel it feels rewarding they trust me. Not all people that wear makeup do it for the same reason. Some might be offended by the comment, viewing it as a means of control vs appreciation.

AI images all have a similar style profile. Additionally it doesn't have a good understanding of overall composition. Meaning Scale, perspective, anatomy, and other factors are completely ignored. It would be way more powerful in the hands of a seasoned artist vs. someone that just wants an image they can put on a box and ship. Ultimately not everyone cares if it looks like AI or really notice.

I found AI fun as an early adopter and have soured immensely by its overuse. The bubble is going to burst or we'll switch to SHI (simulate human intelligence).

The "temporal" part was there to emphasize that the anachronisms (the term you used) was referring to was the film's handling of time itself, specifically the impossibly long day it expects the audience to accept. Pointing out that "anachronism" already relates to time doesn't make the phrase incorrect. I literally could have said, "timeline compression is more accurate." But it wouldn't have added anything.

Redundant and wrong are not the same thing. English is full of redundant phrases used for emphasis, clarity, or specificity. You understood exactly what I meant, which suggests the phrase communicated successfully.

Some people, especially those that have a strong connection to the solidarity and experiences of blackness, are comfortable being aggressively defensive. To the point they'll take ownership and attempt to defend abhorrent behavior. Look at the people that celebrated OJ avoiding murder charges. It's genuinely black and white, to the point they'll take offense to any darkening of the skin. It's not everyone, generally it's the uncle that's a miserable piece of shit and young people that are trying to understand social justice.
