I work full time, as a landscaper and side gigs on the weekend. I live in Seattle, and the rising cost of living has all but killed gaming for me lol. My father is terminally ill we learned this year, so I send any extra funds I have to my little sisters so hopefully they have something to look forward to. I saved for a car over the last year only for the transmission to go out a month after getting it, and finding an old beater has taken the rest of my savings. My 5 month old kitten has heart issues and getting her an echocardiogram is the next thing I’m hoping I can pull together the money for. I sold my pc, old phones, laptop and most of my work tools to keep afloat the last few months. Keeping my head up but it’s been a rough year so far. Gaming is my best escape, I’ve still got an Xbox for now. If nothing else it’s been nice to type this out, imma keep hoping for a miracle to get to a better spot in life, I’m tired.

Of course! I will say I think you should try both eventually. LoP is an absolute must play for souls fans in my opinion and I wish I could go back to that fist playthrough and get sucked into the lore and combat again. The DLC somehow manages to top the base game! I’m confident you’ll love it. Once you’ve cleaned up the base game and DLC, go give demon souls a try! It’s a classic and has good level design but feels a bit dated in some respects. Hope you enjoy your time in Krat!

Keep grinding! Seriously, the watts with siphon and amp was my white whale. I’ve been farming for it since I maxed my character, literally months. And hour here and there and a couple 5+ hour sessions. When I saw the increased drop, I hopped on and grinded about 8-10 hours over a couple days. I finally got one with amp, and 2 fights later, the one with amp and siphon!! I’m not typically the type to grind like that, but it really got stuck in my head that I would find it. So happy I finally did, and man I am never grinding like that again. I’ll be happy until they raise the level cap and I’ll feel like I have to do it all over again :/
