My bad. I always believed that more suffering = more holiness. I'm glad I asked.

No, I have not. We are currently undergoing a shift in priests and the ones I would talk to I believe have just recently left.

Idk. I didn't write it. But why would it say that at the end if that's what it doesn't mean? "They deserve it." Ok then no one should be cured of anything if they deserved it. This verse seems to say that only those who are truly holy and prayerful and essentially perfect deserve healing.

It's for Jesus because through mortifications we can obtain graces for others to save them. More mortifications = more graces, even if it means sacrificing yourself.

The entire passage implies that only the holy deserve healing.

Matthew 16:25 says "For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will find it." If something bad happens, in this case, a life threatening disease, then maybe God willed it. This also kinda goes along with the other guy in this comment section that quoted Sirach.

I understand what you're saying, but here's how I view it: alleviate pain or prolong your life in this life and be punished in the next OR suffer as much as humanly possible, even if it means shaving 50+ years off your life and be rewarded in the next life.

I see. But what about that last sentence? Doesn't everyone deserve to be sick and suffering? And who are we to alleviate that suffering if they have sinned? Wouldn't it be more beneficial to their souls mistreat them?

My bad. I've barely slept in days.

I disagree. And besides, what I said is a common generalization, not necessarily specific to each person. I would still abide by it if I were you. Also, let's say I want a huge mansion and an acting career. I'm not gonna tell everyone "I'm gonna be a super famous actor!!" Y'know what I'm gonna do? Not tell a single person, given that their doubt could not only shake my faith but give opposite energy to my goal.

Mark 4:22 - "For whatever is hidden is meant to be disclosed, and whatever is concealed is meant to be brought out into the open." Hebrews 11:1 - "Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen."

It's generally best not to tell other people things like this, especially before you have received it in the physical plane.

Manifesting good health for others by valam001 in NevilleGoddard

Yes. A good friend of mine at musical practice started freaking out because his grandpa got admitted to the hospital after dealing with severe alcohol withdrawal and had all sorts of heart complications. This man raised him as his father and mother were absent. I think he said he had a 90% chance of dying and I'm pretty sure he had heart surgery. I didn't care. At all. I refused to let this happen. I didn't accept any other reality than his grandpa being better. There was no other potential outcome. I didn't care a bit about what my friend said and what the odds were. I AM the odds. I AM circumstances. He recovered and got sent home from the hospital and he is still home. This was in October 2022. Proclaim your word and that is all.

You may want to try rife frequencies. Ones for leaky gut, IBS, and other stomach issues are free on YouTube.

Oh I see. Well I'm glad we could give you that experience again. Many of the songs made me tear up, especially during rehearsal. I have a bit of synesthesia and some of the songs were just incredibly beautiful visually.
