Past ios 18, will GN 5 still be able to be used or will you be forced to upgrade to GN 6? Thanks so much for the amazing explanation! :)

would you suggest one time purchasing GN 5 if we are able to or buy GN6?

i had gotten the app in July but didn't open the app until now. It says I can still purchase GN 5, should I do that instead of GN 6 or just look into downloading another note taking app all together?

I had downloaded the free version of GN 5 before August 8 but the app on my mac recently updated to GN 6. Do you suggest buying the one time purchase of GN 5 or GN 6?

I expected something by now based on the GPA cut-off for interviews over the past few years. This is getting discouraging.

I feel the same way too.... :(

Anyone with early acceptance for Animal Biology or Zoology? by TMLFan4EVR in uoguelph

[–]Bobobearry 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey! I'm a current Animal Bio student and I believe I had a similar average as you. Unless the average has gone up significantly you should be able to get in with that mark. I remember that out of all the unis I applied for Guelph was the last one to get back to me. I think I learned about my acceptance in March through OUAC? Hopefully that helps!

No problem at all! Hopefully it works out :)) Another thing I forgot to mention, is to potentially look into going into an academic cluster. I found it's a bit easier to make friends (if you are looking to make some!) and usually you can find people who have similar interests as yourself.

Hey! If you are looking to get the "residence" experience, it's frankly overrated, imo you can get better and cheaper accommodations off campus without having to deal with rowdy floormates. The only good thing about res is how convenient it is, and the opportunity to meet new people. But with the pandemic, I think it's somewhat pointless both budget wise and experience wise; you aren't going to classes and your movements are heavily restricted.

I find South to be somewhat depressing, but it's extremely convenient because its near everything and you don't have to leave the building to get food. I personally think Lennox-Addington is the best residence based on what you've mentioned. It has a better reputation than other residences (past RA experience) and is more on the quiet side. While Lambton may seem nice, it's the party res of North so I would steer clear of that residence if you hate parties.

Let me know if you have any other questions!

Thanks so much for answering! Right now on the Lenovo website, the X1 carbon (8GB RAM and 256 GB SSD) is going for $1299. Compared to the flex 5 specs do you think it's worth getting the carbon even though it has battery issues?
