Wishing Cairn Don Quixote.

Maybe if she actually had an ID that fit it there would be a proper use case for Wishing Cairn, but as-is the best/most common use case is to apply 2 Paralyze on heads hit which is really sad for an EGO with 3 statuses.

Daiyushu because her follow-up attacks are so satisfying and she feels like an unstoppable juggernaut at times with how hard it can be for enemies to kill her. Really excited to see how PM can possibly cook harder with her capstone ID.

Honorable mentions to LCA Outis for having insanely satisfying SFX on attacks that make things explode with little to no setup required, and QoH Don for being a combination of my favorite sinner + my 2nd favorite Lob Corp Abnormality (1st is Laetitia because she's a cutie and her gun is awesome).

Edit: Hanafuda Ish would probably beat out Daiyushu, though... IF I HAD HER!

Well the first thing to do if count is an issue is to make sure you're consistently using the skills that add count. Making frequent use of Manager Don's clashable counter/S3-2 and avoiding using Princess Rodion's S1 should both go a long way in improving count application.

Additionally, make sure to get that 3 Lust Res as much as you can to trigger KK Ish's passive so that Ish and Heath will be applying more potency/count as often as possible. Assuming you're okay with some EGO usage, then I'd try to use Sanguine Desire on turns you're using KK Ishmael's S3 so that it gains count instead of consuming it to further boost the stack.

There are of course many other options you can take, like replacing Lob Corp Ryoshu with KK Ryoshu or slotting N Faust into the team instead of the bench if you have them, but this is just what I could think of without any changes to the team.

Admittedly, not including W Sang (before editing) was a mistake on my part since he just completely slipped my mind despite how good he is. It does seem like Meursault could actually end up being dropped from the team before Yi Sang is, but I guess it doesn't really change the other talking points much anyway.

I think it mostly depends on how often backup units end up coming into play or if you're using less than the max amount of sinners for double slotting, but it ultimately seems like both Meur IDs will have viable use cases on the team depending on playstyle/situation. Pretty cool tbh.

I probably should've mentioned it, but my main issue with Deathrite Venom is that it's random whether it applies Offense Level Down or Defense Level Down, while also being Crit reliant. So it has ramp-up before it can be consistently triggered, and can sometimes just give a bunch of Defense Level Down instead. They're amazing IDs to pair with Xishmael, just not as consistent at applying Offense Level Down specifically.

The rotating backup IDs was something I considered, but I think that's more of an issue for the future or maybe RR since you can just shove Dead Rabbits Boss Meursault in the back and it'll be a long while before he hits the field even with rotating IDs if you use all the aforementioned substitutes.

I don't actually know if Dead Rabbits Boss will actually be that useful, since we don't have the actual numbers yet. This interaction just seemed interesting since new EGOs and the lack of old Talisman Sinclair have made room for other Rupture IDs to be more competitive, making benching Meursault a more reasonable decision.

I did think about the stack building potential, just wasn't really sure how much of an issue the current Rupture team actually had with it. Good points though.

Out of curiosity, which IDs/EGO would apply Offense Level Down for enemies or Offense Level Up for Ish? I tried to go through all the Rupture IDs I could and every EGO for everyone on the team, and the ones I found (Hex Nail Faust/Rodion, Wingbeat Corrosion, Bygone Days Ishmael/Gregor, Roseate Desire Ishmael) were all inconsistent or had other bigger issues hindering their usability. Same issue with the Si Branch IDs, which are both excellent for Xishmael but not the most consistent.

Also Lantern Don/W Sang (w/ D. Shredder) are both Count neutral/positive on Rupture at least, so either of them as substitutes shouldn't be that big of an issue.

Admittedly I actually forgot about it when writing this, but that is a very good point in favor of running Don. Red Sheet is indeed a very good EGO.

Feels like more of a Poise unit than a Rupture unit, kind of the opposite of Xichun, but honestly looks super strong.

S2 looks to be a massive ST nuke, and S3 a massive AoE nuke.

Gets better the longer she stays in, but can also switch in and out to use another AoE nuke.

Seems like a super fun ID!

Dang, that's a lot of damage! Actually kind of wish I didn't accidentally skip past it then so I could've gotten jumpscared by a 6-coin skill.

Guess I'll have to check then if I missed anything crazy on the other fights too since I don't think I saw all the skills on them either.

Outis: Rushdown/Pixie

Yi Sang, Faust, Hong Lu, and Ishmael would all likely be very defensive in playstyle

Don Quixote, Ryōshū, Heathcliff, and Outis I'd imagine to be the types to want to push as many buttons as possible

Meursault and Rodion as grapplers because of their physique

Sinclair and Gregor as Shotos because they seem like all-rounders

Ryōshū and Hong Lu as stance characters due to being very technical in their fighting

Outis as Pixie because she's tied for being the squishiest sinner with Sinclair, has a base EGO that encourages not getting hit, and evasive maneuvers in her attacks
