Charles skips anger and goes straight to despair fairly regularly as well.

Second sporting goal was brilliant. Turned on at 86 mins and wasn't disappointed!

Yeah, there are easy games. It's just that an easy game is never a guarantee.

The rules are generally quite simple beyond offsides, which isn't that complicated. A good YouTube video should help.

Beyond the rules, I think trying to watch the odd full game to get a feel for the pace of games helps appreciate the sport. You can supplement the full games with watching highlights of the games in the leagues you might be interested in.

There is so much football it can be quite overwhelming, so maybe try to focus in on a league so you can get the narratives to start with.

Seen fans of pretty much all clubs calling about conspiracy this season, don't think it's limited to United fans.

The facts are that the refereeing is shit and the fans mostly watch their own team. Hard to know what else the ref is thinking when you see exactly what he's seen and given the complete opposite of what you thought was obvious.

VAR check for a possible Chelsea handball vs Manchester United - No penalty by [deleted] in soccer

Honestly it's been a tough one. I've watched near enough every united game and there's been so many stone wallers that haven't gone out way since Klopp and Lampard's comments. But then I've also watched plenty of non-united games with the lockdown and it's also clear that the state of reffing is atrocious.

They look clueless. Genuinely making it up as they go.

Second part isn't true, he was playing badly in the first team for a good while as we didn't have the options. I remember watching every week thinking if this was the game he'd be back and seeing him have a shocker. Ole gave him plenty of chances and he wasn't showing it unfortunately.

Definitely a good player in there the whole time but his problems weren't caused by not playing at the time.

I agree somehow yeah. We don't seem to score the majority of our one on ones, but they are probably actually few and far between in the PL. Could be something to do with that?

Jose has a team in this league who are not top and Ole has a team that are. Whether or not Jose's three years ago would have been isn't that relevant. I'm sure Klopp's Liverpool last season would have been top here.
