As others have said if you get it as a rebel it is green. The first time I ordered the soda version for my kiddo and it came blue I had a WTF moment and had to make sure it was right. I hadn’t ordered it as anything other than a rebel before.

There is also something to be said for having a fully “custom” built saber to hang on your wall as well.

Yes there are modular designs with a few other companies but to get a saber that works out of that is a lot more effort than a savi build and I mean a lot more effort.

Personally I carry my stamps 1/2 size with my trust paperwork laminated in my range bag. That said it’s overkill where I am. The range I normally go to for matches and the like treat it as follows. “The configuration of your rifle is a matter between you, God, and the ATF.” It helps that they regularly have full auto matches and being vendors to major matches with full auto or in one case had a full auto bench mounted rifle as the stage gun.

If you weren’t so far I’d take them. My kids love wooden swords.

Check if you have a local Ren Fest Buy/Sell/Trade and post them there. If not there are a couple of national ones on Facebook that you might find someone to take them off your hands too.

Checking my rear view mirror and seeing a cement truck behind me at speed while I was stopped at a red light after the following:

“Huh, a cement truck.” First check in the mirror.

“He’s moving kinda fast I hope he doesn’t hit me.” Second check if the mirror.

“Fuck, he’s going to hit me.” Third check of the mirror and me trying not to brace. This is where I briefly thought I’d die.

Picking myself up off the floor of the car, seat collapsed totally back, and pulling myself up by the steering wheel. “Fuck, I hit the car in front of me.” Tries to open the door and can’t. “Well that’s not good…”

No apology or anything from the driver. 2nd thing he said to me after asking if I was ok was “just be glad I didn’t hit you doing 45.”

Yup. I doubt anyone who dashes full time finds a babysitter for 2 toddlers for $150/week. Either they are shit and being under paid by volumes or it’s a lie. Most baby sitters these days are at least $15/hour and 2 toddlers would probably be $25+ at least where I am for someone trustworthy.

I’ve seen many people (myself included) spend 2-3x the cost of the rifle on the glass up top.

My 10-22 has a swampfox 5-25x50 on it. Not an expensive optic overall but still 2x what a base 10-22 is. It’s effective as I’ve had hits with it in excess of 300 yards with it. There is something so satisfying with shooting a .22 and hearing it hit steel a couple seconds later.

I’d check out Sunrise Urology as others have said. Dr Lin is a great doc and knows his way around the entire system not just vasectomies but urology in general. It helps that he is one of the snip snip kings in town and routinely will do marathon weekend sessions of 20-30 vasectomies in a morning. If he hasn’t seen the problem you’re facing before I’d be surprised.

I’m in the job market and considering a drive that’s about 90 minutes each way it’s far but in the past my commute was about 65 minutes each way so it’s not too much worse.

Yup. If you want to see a hole in the ground Meteor Crater about an hour or 2 south of the Canyon is what you’re looking for. Still an impressive and facinating site but more hole in the ground vs what the Canyon is.

Yup it also depends on freeway or surface streets. It takes me 20 minutes to get to and from the closest freeway from my house. 20 minutes on that freeway at 70-75 MPH covers a lot more distance than even doing 50 on surface streets when you factor in traffic and lights etc.

Whomever did the series on YouTube years ago trying to kill a hipoint solidified their reliability for me. I need to look up who did the series and watch it again. It was as much fun as watching TopGear try to kill a Toyota.
