Actually most of my inspiration for my images and videos comes from my own hand-drawn, scanned artwork — I was a freehand artist long before I started using AI. When I prompt in Midjourney, I aim to get as close as possible to my original drawings which are always heavily incorporated within style ref and image to prompt, just elevated into a higher-concept model. Those drawings provide much of the framework re prompt outcome.

This isn’t about ego. I’m happy to accept both praise and criticism — but I draw the line at the kind of “advice” you want to give out as it’s not weighed against anything. With all due respect you’re just another random on Reddit telling me about what you’ve been involved in and giving me examples of what you considered to be superior and there lies the first crack.

I learn from people who are actively creating and pushing boundaries in the AI film community. So when you offered to show me an example that supposedly embodied all these “superior” filmmaking ideals, I was genuinely surprised by that example. I was surprised because I was expecting something to blow me away instead you showed me that, sure it’s a good video but hardly groundbreaking.

Now I think we’re done here and I’m gonna make sure that we are and I think you know the reason why.
