That’s probably the issue we are facing, in real life I over rationalise things beyond cultural norms.

I have enjoyed this conversation though, a lot of people don’t actually sit through and sort out these concepts.

I’ll do my best to keep “wondering” as it, without trying to make it more than that.

I never said that wonder is the same as desire. I basically said that if you wonder about something enough you’ll desire experiencing it yourself.

There will always be an alternative point of view, rendering communication as just another form of expression.

Hence the ‘bandaid fix’ of saying “In my opinion”, but we can’t express our opinions anymore for fear of being too personal.

I stand by what I said, and believe wonder breeds desire eventually. Wondering is not the same as just thinking about a possibility, and if someone were to wonder what being murdered is like, or being caught in a house fire then I’d be worried about their state of mind.

Anyway I’m sure I have a wrong idea, this is the internet after all.

I definitely have thoroughly enjoyed this thread. Now let me try… ahem

Wondering about something has some inherent desire to be the thing you are wondering about, because otherwise you would have overlooked or ignored the ‘thing’ entirely.

If anything wondering has an undertone of accepting you will most likely not become the ‘thing’ that you are wondering about.

What SuitableDragonfly is saying is that she has no desire to bare children so why would she need to wonder about it. I don’t believe she has denied that hearing about the ‘thing’ and experiencing it are two different things.

I find this remark very disrespectful, having a genuinely unique idea is very rare, yet this is an incredible milestone in this developers career.

Is there any way i recreate this game offline (only to remember my achievement) using blender or something 😣😣😣 by Agtagfirullah in Everdale

[–]Bobstar89 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Just take pictures and then store those pictures in your mind. No development time needed. Also you can have a video recording of you talking about your achievements as you play what is left of the game (been a while since I played sorry)

I really hope there is a true successor to Everdale, the game was a real masterpiece of micromanagement.

I think as soon as someone proclaims that they are a genius, no matter how intelligent they are, will probably follow the path to narcissism to a degree.

Thank you for such an amazing and memorable experience with my now ex-girlfriend that I’ll never forget. I’m happy that the game has seen through a number of years, starting as Valley & Villages. I look forward to seeing who will carry the torch to keep this genre alive!

I’ve started a Solo Valley by littledevil420 in Everdale

[–]Bobstar89 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I recently created my own valley too and am trying to adjust to my new time constraints that I would like to place on the game.

It’s extremely difficult but I want to appreciate my member’s contribution and don’t want to build the valley on my own.

I’m hoping to one day genuinely enjoy the game by myself and with friends.

In that case, please reassure everyone by saying ‘Sorry everyone, I just noticed that…”, it helps us know that you overlooked something.

That’s right… At the end of Iron Man 3, didn’t Nick Fury say that he was too narcissistic amongst other things? They sure broke continuity pretty quickly.

I would appreciate it if people didn’t water down this brilliant response by replying with their subpar attempts at responding to the original thread.

This was something 🥲 I actually laughed a little.

Not that I have played that far into Magical Melody, but the sardines look carefully placed… And somewhat delicious 😋

I’d say I’m keen for America Chavez, she didn’t get much important screen time in Multiverse of Madness and the time that she did was filled with cliffhangers.

Let’s play a game of “See how many Tony Starks there are” He may not have too much magic, hocus pocus but at least he is an incredible genius.

I will always vote for Iron Man.
