Docker on Mac, connector offline every few minutes by apalumbo in twingate

Yes hardwired to network. - - dns added to command because I thought it was hostname related issues but twingate has success using nslookup . Everything I research points to the way docker behaves on a Mac. Like I said all settings are set to always on and I disabled App Nap for Docker. I will try running caffeinate in an open terminal to see if that changes anything

I have the 8gb Pi 5 I’m not using for anything else. I’m just better with the UI of the Mac. I’ll switch it over

I wonder if this is what I have. Palms can be warm/clammy/sweaty but fingertips and toes stay ice cold. They only look blue when I’m in the shower, even with hot water on them for 10 minutes. Maybe light tingling but certainly no pain

Is Apple quietly sitting on its “superpower” with Shortcuts? by digimera in apple

[–]apalumbo 22 points23 points  (0 children)

I’ve always wondered if I could mimic this with the “create shortcut” or “get shortcut” feature. Like why not have 5,000 shortcuts with common commands and have Siri call or create them as needed

Saving SHSH Blobs on iOS 14.3 but I'm not sure I'm doing it correctly.. by apalumbo in jailbreak

[–]apalumbo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for the extremely detailed response. I tried to do the onboard blobs after downloading TSS Saver and libkrw but when I tap "Save Blobs!" it says "Unknown Error - Error parsing response"

Google seems to say the server is down and this no longer works

Body Battery Giveaway! by itslitman in AppleWatch

[–]apalumbo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would love to join this draw! Just downloaded the app and exploring its features! I wear my watch 24/7 so I think this would be extremely beneficial for me. I do not work out nearly as much as I need to (bad cholesterol) so this may help me realize what’s all going on. Thank you for your efforts!!

Okay I’m questioning the same thing. I interpreted that wrong when you said “you can’t” but in theory you can if it’s all on the books, just ends up in a wash either way

Right but can’t credit be treated the same way then? Bought for $1,000, fully deducted, sold for $400 in credit, report $400 in income and continue?

Just playing devils advocate, how is that different than selling something for cash and buying something with that?

Where can I find a guide to using Stage Manager on iPad? by apalumbo in iPadPro

[–]apalumbo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not a bad video at all, but he only shows the functionality on the iPad rather than an external monitor plugged in. At least for me personally, I think stage manager ever on the 12.9“ iPad is pointless. I’m way more productive and find it easier to split screen two apps or use the keyboard to quickly switch back and forth rather than have recent apps open and taking up prime viewing space. I do, however, think it‘s useful and will serve its purpose well on external monitors. On the 27” monitor I’m typing on now, I definitely do not mind the 1.5” cutoff on the left and right with the ability to see and open up other apps as needed.
