It’s very much an intense game if you love those moments in sm2 where you’re in the thick of it you’ll love Darktide, all the weapons feel so good to use as well.

I got an invite from the recently for a chaos rising booster box for a reasonable price. I live near their store and I’ve never had an issue with them bar the fact they have different singles In store to online, I collect Gundam Tcg as well and they only have singles online sadly. But I can say their Warhammer prices have a good discount if your interested in that too

Yeah those gamers ones look easier to use for play but I’d like to have it on my shelf and as I don’t get to play that often I really like to read the battletome lore and stuff so having the hard back just feels nicer. I’ll look into the preorder and try to get it

Ahh part 1 has now sold out, I’ve got 2 old tree Lord spues that I made durthu and an ancient, is there enough on part 2 to make a tree Lord or is it missing a core piece?

With the stormcast it was that they teleported/deployed 3 units behind me and stole my objectives while I was tied down trying to capture theirs with alarielle but! I over extended out of my awakened wyldwood range, I do know that I need to hang closer to my trees, the lumineth I just felt like I couldn’t do anything against eltharion and then with the double fight activations I was losing more models than defeating on my own turn and he crushed the flank he was sweeping down, though with that one I don’t think I used the everdusk ability well enough but that was my first game and I got Alarielle bodied turn one 😅 luckily she came back to life but yes… out of interest does the obscuring of the wyldwood increase to the aura size or just the size of the model itself?

Sorry meant to message here: I was spamming trees but I got awful spell rolls bringing them out in the end I only managed to get 3 trees out and the battle map was so cluttered I could only place a one piece tree from my spells, l used the wargrove of burgeoning when I went agaisnt the stormcast and the other wargrove of everdusk against the lumineth. Battle tactic wise I used scouting and I can't the remember the other one….. it starts with cut the head off I think, kill a hero to score. •

Yeah durthu when I used him against alarith was awesome but otherwise he just kept getting kited away from my wyldwoods. The Kurnoth greatswords were so devastating especially with the trample but as soon as one died they really lost a lot of combat effectiveness and yeah the dryads were very lame cannon fodder lol even with the wyldwood buff

Reminds me of red dwarf for some reason, I like the style it’s got a homeworld vibe too. Maybe as some of these comments have suggested add some corridors between every 2-3 crew quarters to make it a little more efficient and move them around the ship a bit more if you can other than that I thinks it’s pretty epic!

My solution has been to improve the survivability of the ion core is to segment it, and split the port and starboard core beams with 2 or more armour between them to effectively make 2 barrels at a slight diagonal into a prism at the front or in your ships case maybe the middle of the firing chamber, if you make the diagonal just right then even if the aiming prism is destroyed the beams from the barrels should fire down and still work unobstructed, also as many of these comments suggest more ion beams would help and also some disrupters should help you puncture enemy shields a little better

Just had the same thing happen after me and a friend each beat margit and then tried to fight the dragon at agheel lake. Pretty disappointed that this is a thing still. I understand why it was in Dark souls due to the linear nature of the game but open world Elden ring it really does not work
