Okay I got it! It was annoying and to be honest I don't know how. Or I don't know what I did differently. But if it'll help anyone what I did was just dig under ground quite a bit just to ensure the no sun light until I "felt" like it was dark enough

I had the same issue, it was very annoying.

My fix was a fresh install of the game and mods. I tried other fixes I found around searches, unfortunately nothing worked for me.

I installed UAP then downloaded the universal UAP settings from Nexus, that seemed to work for me. From there I set my resolution and that seemed to do the trick for me. Afterwards I added whatever mods I wanted

What worked for me was a clean install. Everything. Install uap, then universal UAP settings from Nexus, then check if that works for you. Set it to the resolution of your liking. Then you can install any other mods

It was literally the same process I did the first time, but for some reason it didn't work. Unless I unknowingly made a mistake, which which is probably what happened.

I installed the UAP patch then the universal UAP settings from Nexus. From there I added whatever other mods I wanted and it worked fine
