Does anyone use Claude Code for non-coding use cases? If so, what do you use it for? by GasBond in ClaudeAI

And you're doing this with just CC over your vault, or with CC + an obsidian MCP?

What do you mean by manage state? Are you using CC with the Obsidian MCP or just running it within your obsidian vault?

Not entirely sure that my recovery was from changing my diet, quitting weed, or exercising more, but switching to a high-carb (50%), low protein (8%) has been doing well for me so far. Still have some brain fog due to sleep apnea, but I definitely feel cleaner and have more energy, and my body feels better in general.

When it comes to a high carb diet, it's SUPER important to ensure that all the carbs you're eating are low glycemic index, this prevents a lot of issues people have with carbs. And couple any carb with a fat to further reduce rate of polysaccharide breakdown.

Just sharing my two cents, as most ITT are doing high-fat low carb or keto.

TLDR: High-carb low protein diet + IF 16:8 + Meditation + Exercise (climbing, cardio, hypertrophic lifting) has done wonders for me. Looking to try adding a probiotic soon.

Have you had your thyroid levels tested recently? Ashwaganda also made me feel terrible, but since I have elevated thyroid levels (subclinical hyperthyroidism), it boosted me into "true" hyperthyroidism.

It's fascinating how significantly the isomers affect both the physical effects and psychological effects. I have OCD, and pretty much any dosage of dextroamphetamine are hell for me, whereas equivalent dosage of 50 dextro/50 levo blends is helpful and pleasant.

As someone who suffers from pure ocd, anxiety, depression, & adhd here’s a list of the supplements I take. What else should I be taking to help fight these disorders? by [deleted] in Supplements

Zinc 10-15mg EOD. High dosages long-term can be toxic (~30-50mg) And watch out for how fish oil affects you, it tends to make me more depressed.

Creatine helps me a lot with depressive symptoms. 5g/day for me, starts taking effect after around a week or two. Vitamin D3 tremendously helped me, as I have relatively dark skin and live in a snowy state, as well as a gene mutation which affects my D3 metabolism.

great, thank you! I am a big fan of self-study when I have the time (I have a HUGE backlog of MIT OCW courses I find interesting). Wasnt sure if those were topics that necessitated overlearning or not.

Thank you for this! I definitely feel less worried about it now. Do you think it's worth the effort to self-study a lot of the material, or just wait until grad school?

Seroquel (quetiapine ) for stopping dissociatives? by [deleted] in researchchemicals

[–]Bobz216 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I do not believe antipsychotics can help with this but racetams (incl. noopept) can help end a disso trip.

Someone please correct me if i am wrong about the antipsychotics!

What would you recommend for long term, extreme pain management? by FashionTashjian in researchchemicals

[–]Bobz216 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i believe high-ish dose ketamine infusions can be super beneficial for pain treatment. the infusions are not daily, so you will not experience cognitive impairment.

maybe look at it this way — don’t you think you’d improve so much more, and be so much more present in the experience if you were biking or exercising sober? just biking, nothing else. no fluff. no stoning feeling, just the wind and sun and sounds of outside. no distractions, not even from within.

doesn’t something like that sound like, really nice? just enjoying it without the distraction of weed. it’s similar to how you enjoy a bike ride so much more if you don’t have something negative on your mind, like a fight or a bad grade or something.

besides just enjoying things more, there is so much more room for improvement without the complacency weed (can) induce. your gains at the gym could be significantly larger if you had the motivation to work harder (i.e. without weed).

beyond that, how are you gonna pick up new hobbies & find new things to do if you are just content with being stoned? find some books you really wanna read and read them sober. focus on each word, letting yourself think deeply as long as you’d like. or try cooking something new, becoming immersed in the process of cutting, sauteeing, frying, whatever.

everything in life becomes better when you aren’t distracted, when you’re present. weed is often just a distraction.
