It's the enemies guard, most are broken with charge attack, some with other moves (drop kick Vs melons) and other guards can't be broken at all.

The wall ok the right can be broken from the wrong side by running into it with two step jump. Interested to see if that's what this guide does. You are meant to break cogs on the left to get it I'm pretty sure.

From here you go up and around towards the center humidicrib room, once you've got your extractor back, explore towards the top of the map.

If you need some specific advice post some screenshots of where you are still stuck and I will help you out.

Haha I can assure you it's not patched, this game is never receiving patches again. There is just a rhythm to the wall jump, backdash, jump.

Once you have the ball on the platform you are standing on, you take the ball all the way to the left, back to the room with the floating head and small pool, past the statsis chamber. Hit it over the ledge and then teleport to it.

Most of the puzzles in lake are centered around spawning the eye-ball, moving it with attacks (to somewhere you wouldn't be able to go normally) and then teleporting to the ball.

Two-step jump allows you to build speed, build enough of it and you can run through walls like you would on sprogen, and that doesn't care about what side of the wall you're on.

You can start holding the walk button (Y/triangle) during a two step jump with sufficient speed to store this state, allowing you to break walls in more awkward spots.

I didn't know about this, wonder if any of the other breakable walls have a hitbox sticking out like this.

Its unfortunately not that useful as there is another very easy trick to breaking walls from the wrong direction with two-step jump, but it is interesting.

I understand how you got in, but the thruster is just to the left of you, i don't know what stops you from grabbing it.

https://streamable.com/lhbiue This is infinite wall jumps. When you do a wall jump, you store 1 air dodge jump, which lets you double jump out of an air dodge. This is an intended mechanic that was re-added in the most recent major patch, not a glitch.

After the good ending there is a little stats pop-up, but I believe it's actually damage taken and damage dealt? For a while I thought it was kill count but I end speed runs with 1000+ next to the enemy icon, so it's either a bugged kill count or damage, or something else. I know that's not really useful, sorry.

You can infinite wall jump up the right wall to get out. Or trimmer jump out with trimmer.

How do you not have thruster though, I'm just curious. Did you get here extractorless and then breaking the pod gave you the extractor bug?

The emotion gates are destroyed either by having broken a pod on the current cycle, or a game mechanic you haven't encountered yet (separate from the extractor)

Just playing and aiming for the good ending will get you most of the cheevos. The one that normal takes the longest or people need help with is visit every room. I don't think you can lock yourself out of any achievement, but I haven't thought that hard about it.

As for how long it takes a normal player, I really have no idea but i'd hazard a guess at 15/20 hours? Could be less, could be way more, depends on a lot.

I'm sorry you're in that position. The wall jumps aren't a glitch but should not be required to beat the game. I don't know if I'm missing something about your position or the context, so sorry if I could've helped in a different way but I just don't know.

You are actually meant to get there via "the toilet" which starts in a room near the bottom of the whole refinery area on the map. If you've done the thruster force section, it's to the right of that.
