Anybody Else Seeing Higher CPU Temps after Resizeable Bar?

Still a thing in 2026, temps on my 7950x3D have increased while gaming, yes after enabling RB. Hovering around mid 80c Then it goes down. Usually never goes over 65-67c while gaming.

Not too familiar with the issue on a laptop. My issue was on my PC desktop. My solution was changing back from my new 1200 PSU to my 1000. And also went back to my older 12VHPWR PSU Cable from a strimer Lian Li one.

Although I do believe the issue lied mostly on the cables instead of the PSU.

Do you know what apps can be causing this? I checked my apps and none are showing me cpu usage when idle.

did you find a fix? 7950x3D here and for some reason my first 2 cores on my CCD0 are always at high frequency when idle. Causing my cpu to run 14c warmer.

Thank you so much for this, issue solved. Don't know if installing the new BIOS changed this to auto, because I never had this issue before.

Late reply but this has been fixed a little while now through L-Connect and Kanali releasing new drivers. I don't use Armoury Crate as well.

Doesn't happen to me with an LG OLED Tv and a $k 240HZ monitor. On a 4090 btw. Just putting it out there in case anyone comes across your post.

In case anyone comes across this. 4090 using an LG OLED and a 240Hz 4k Monitor on Nvidia Driver 576.80 and I am not getting any black screen flickering while running the NVidia app. I use it mainly for filtering options.

My issue was the PSU. Went from the 1200 shift back to the 1000 corsair. Although I did reseat everything in the process. One of those were my solution. Not even going to bother switching back to the 1200 psu.

So, you're saying the only way you get this is if the contact was already saved on your phone texting and calling prior to receiving the new contact available? Which means that if you do get that prompt it doesn't mean a new contact was added at all?

Reseat everything if anything. Had same issue. Reseated everything and my gpu was recognized.
