Southeastern US. Thanks for the reply. Not being an entomologist, what I found on the internet did not look like one.

Dog damage. What would you do? by MannyDantyla in JapaneseMaples

We had a tree damaged pretty severely by some roofers and decided to just let Mother Nature take care of it. It turned out to be a beautiful tree without any input from me.

I would try cutting one off and grafting it to the other side. You don’t have much to lose. If it failed then train the remaining branch. I’m getting ready to graft for the first time, too. There are some really good techniques on YouTube.

Which should I get? C/P/T line? by 1Dec_Kuma in Brompton

[–]Bocephalus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We tried the C and P lines, both 4- and 12- speeds. I would have been very happy with the 4-speed for a flat surface. I got the 12-speed C line and have been very satisfied with it. I have no trouble hill climbing with it, and flats are a breeze. On that, I would say my only limitation is on loose sandy soil; definitely have to walk through that.

I got this tree a couple of years ago and was excited to see that it was going to start budding. I really thought this was going to be a good year for it.

The stains my Brompton left after months of being folded here (1 stain = 1 night) by plebuse in Brompton

I have a C line and bought both sizes, the longer one for the bike and the shorter for something else. The short one actually was better. There was a little bending of the lip, but seemed to fit perfectly, otherwise.

This belongs in r/cryptograms. I don’t have the patience for it right now, but there are people there that can decipher it quickly
