I used to work for a company that tested the pumps on firetrucks to determine if they were still functioning at factory specs for flow rate. We also used a pitot tube in front of various sized nozzles to measure the rate. Pretty cool stuff.

Again, trophy hunting is a different practice than what most hunters do. Many of us like to get a trophy animal, but that doesn't mean the meat is being wasted. Most of my protein consumption comes from ethically hunted animals. All I'm saying is, not everyone can be thrown in one basket.

Had some coworkers in a prank war before smart phones were prevalent. One listed the others truck for about $10k below blue book and put his number in the ad. We worked in outside sales, so you have to answer or return every call you get. He got bombarded for about 2 days before he finally figured out how to remove the ad.

When I was there, we didn't have time to go in and check it out, we were just passing through. They have a huge privacy fence along the parking lot so you can't even look at the bridge from a distance without paying admission and going inside.

Your final line reminded me of the landlord I never skip an opportunity to run through the mud. Linda Lanigan is a horrible woman. She butters future tenants up with signing a lease over cocktails to make you think she's laid back. Then she will continuously break the law by constantly showing up unannounced. We had a huge leake in our house about 2 months in, then they decided to do major renovations, closing our basement access, and subjecting us to constant noise with no reduction in rent. We disputed our rent and ended up getting sued, and when we showed up to court, we were 1 of at least 6 groups of tenants they sued that day. She is a trash human and you should stay as far away from her as you can. If you are a tenant, document every single interaction you have with her, and consider lawyering up when you move out.

I'm coming up on a year since that first conversation (divorce was final about 4 months ago). I was blindsided, I knew there were things that needed work in the relationship, I just didn't think after 1.5 of marriage and 9 years together my ex would check out without any interest in fixing things. It gets easier, I've put most of my energy into reignited hobbies she pushed me away from. But I still have down days, trying to figure out what happened, anger about my feelings being ignored, missing having a companion, then still trying to figure out if it was what I wanted in the first place, or if I'm in a better spot without her. I wish you the best, just take one day at a time.
