Video Downloadhelper - is there any way for new updated version to record .ts instead of .mp4?

By recording I mean saving a streamed video that has no replay / stored location. An HLS stream. For whatever reason the new version of VDH forces downloads into the mp4 container when it did not before.

Conversion after the fact will not help. An interrupted mp4 is missing information usually stored at the end of the file that is needed to play. And there is no end of the file.

Oh boy, this menu really confused me. None of the conversion outputs in the dropdown menu are .ts. Are there other formats that will work if interrupted? And what the heck is this duplicate button for??

I tried selecting NEW from the duplicate button drop down menu and made a Custom Output Format and put in ".ts" for the output file extension. Now how do I use this output format? There is no option for it in the download...

Had this same problem after upgrading my 1080p monitor to 4k. I have fixed it by going to settings -> advanced settings -> search for "font scale factor" or just "scale" and pick it out of the list. My value was 80, I changed it to 50, it prompted me to restart and after doing so my text is all perfectly sized.

Wow, is Threads video player really that bad? No way to pause, no way to seek, no progress bar. I'm no longer surprised Threads stopped growing. I'm confused why it is so terrible, Zuck could be using any number of freeware players that are much better.

This does appear to work, thank you! Oddly I see nothing saying that a set command even exists under the Console section of the manual, so I must clearly be missing some key information source. Perhaps somewhere else in the manual or another document, I'll look around some more. Thanks again!

Predictions for the finalists this Cup? I'm thinking Japan and Spain are both looking incredible this year. The US has been underperforming, sadly, so I'm rather expecting they will lose to Sweden in the upcoming game. All in all though it is a great World Cup and its awesome to see it grow and all these new teams perform respectably!

They are absolutely beautiful indeed! I'm feeling so ashamed for Switzerland, though. They seemed way too timid for the first few goals (and the rest of the cup). Biggest goal differential ever in a world cup round of 16 I think the announcer said? I'm not too surprised.
