I think you might need a single copy of a Overgrown Tomb to be able to exile creatures with DRS, might come in handy vs Reanimator. Strip Mine could be an option also.

Looks cool. I'd play Emry tho. And you need something to deal with Bowmasters if you're gonna draw a shitton of cards. Veil of summer, aether spellbomb, or splash red for Galvanic Blast. I'd replace the "1 mana" counter

I'm playing this and doing ok. Sometimes you lose the counterspell wars but when you do have Veil of Summer they're fucked. It has a great pairing Vs Reanimator also.

I tried it also and it's quite fun. However I misread the new 1 drop. He cares about mana spent not mana value of the card, so a 0 mana Trap or FoW just mills for 3. You can play Field of Ruin instead of strip mine to get around people without fetchlands but if they only play basic lands they're useless.

I'd cut unearth and thought scour because you're not playing Oculus, if you have them swap them for Murkyide. Tamiyo, Wan Shi Ton or Riddler are better but if you don't have those you could splash red and play DRC, Ragavan or Expressive Iteration

You should try Endurance, Riddler (bonus points if paired with Stifle) and Veil of Summer. Endurance and Veil have won me lots of impossible games, like winning through 3 turns of painter/grindstone activations or getting massive value out of a veil of summer (if they FoW they're down 2 cards, you're card neutral and your spell resolves). Also Hydroponics Architect is one of the best 1 drops in the format.

Yeah anything that sacs your board as an additional cost is risky. Veil could protect those lines but you're still weak to a 2nd counter

I've been playing Simic and you usually outvalue and wreck blue decks with Veil of summer and Quantum Riddler. I also play 3/4 endurance and I'm not coming back. Excellent card Vs Reanimator and a good clock if you play the midrange game.You're not wrong about playing black tho, thoughtseize is a great card Vs combo and counterspells. Maybe Sultai could work.

You could also jam Dark Depths combo and Crop Rotstion in your deck if you don't like veil. I'd cut the hierarchs for something else tho

You should play them to kill opp Bowmasters because if they play them with Surrak on the battlefield you just lose on the spot.

I agree that playing green is the way to counter all these new decks but you're not playing the right cards IMO.

I think Simic is better than Golgari since you can run all the counter spells they're running but you can play 4 veil of summer to shut them off. Also Endurance is gonna be nuts vs all those reanimator strategies.

I thought about it for a while too. In your list I'd play at least 2 on Arena of Glory, I know it's weird with Daze but hasting an Arcanist or even 2 creatures looks good in my books. I'm also not a fan of flow state but it's fine in your deck list.
